What does forgiveness mean to you
I appreciate being forgiven when I say or do something that isn’t well-received. I’m human. It happens. If someone chooses not to forgive me for something (no idea what that would be honestly), I would have to accept that and move along.
I’m willing to forgive if the offense isn’t too bad. There are things that I don’t forgive, such as crimes, but I would consider myself average in the forgiveness department. However, I do not consider it a religious obligation. I get to decide who and what to forgive based on my personal safety, boundaries, feelings, and standards.
