How often are lying in bed doing nothing, while you had a lot of other plans?

I’m stuck in bed often. Muscle disease doesn’t care about my plans.
But it’s not nothing to rest. Rest is the most important part of recovery.

what do you do in your life?

Can you be more specific? I don’t really want to give a play-by-play of my daily life.

What kind of movies do you most enjoy?

Adventure, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, History, Biography, Documentary, and a few Musicals
Not a big fan of the rest, although I do like a few feelgood movies with actors such as Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Sandra Bullock, Alan Rickman, etc. Mild romantic comedy is fine. Crude/erotic is not my genre.

If we had the technology to rewrite people's minds to alleviate mental illness, would that be an ethical thing to do? Or would it essentially strip us of ourselves, our individuality and identity?

This is a great question. I would choose to do it, as long as I knew I wouldn’t become an unfeeling sociopath as a result. I suppose it should be a case-by-case decision.

Who was the last person you gave a kiss?

One of my nieces, I guess. I kiss them on top of their heads. I don’t kiss anyone else.

How do you control you anger?

Not as well as I’d like. I’m in no way a violent person; not even close. But I do get upset and often hold it in until I’m boiling inside, then I speak my mind. My parents were angry and difficult people. I’m nowhere near their level, however, and I am pursuing therapy to make absolutely sure I never am. It’s not who I want to be.
Anger is normal, though, and must be allowed. We have to stop judging people for feeling anger. We are human, and anger is part of our emotional makeup. It is our actions that make all the difference. I’m pretty lethargic most of the time, but I have strong feelings about things that are important. I’m working on my reactions to those feelings, and I believe I’m headed in the right direction.

If you could travel back in time and change one thing in the past (yours or the worlds) would you? If so, what would it be? What would you do?

Geekette
I would like to change many many things, and really don’t know where to begin.

You're planning a nice dinner party but could only invite 3 people. Who would you invite?

Mrs.Scream
Three of my doctors, so they could see how normal and friendly I am outside of their nerve-wracking offices.

On a scale of 1-10😁, how much would you rate yourself as a gamer 😁🎮

snehm4556’s Profile Photosnehm4556
I will give myself a 3 or 4. I grew up with video games and board games, but I mostly just sat and watched my older brother play Nintendo. I did run a video arcade in the 90s for a short time. Now I play chess or other board games occasionally, and I started Pokemon Go earlier this year. It’s the only game on my phone. I have Pokemon TCGO on the laptop, and own physical cards although I have sold most of them. My nieces are who got me started on Pokemon. I knew nothing about it until they were born, but I like it a lot and I’m a member of a large PoGo group in my county ranging in age from 8 to 68! Still, this doesn’t compare to my brother’s commitment to gaming. He’s 45 years old and video games remain his #1 obsession. He owns virtual reality now and it’s wild. I’ve never owned an actual video game system. He has owned them all.

You come across a magic book and whatever you write in it becomes reality. What's the first thing you would write in it?

I would force time to rewind two years to prevent the Trump administration from existing so that there would have never been any kids in cages, separated from their families, trafficked and lost, neglected or dying. A lot of other terrible things would have been prevented as well, but the abused kids are who affect me the most.
Everyone would have safety and bodily autonomy.
All of humanity would have built-in translators so we would automatically know all languages.
True equality and social justice would exist. Empathy and respect would be the rule, not the exception.
I would write a cure for dementia, cancers, dystrophies, chronic pain, and other cruel diseases.
There is a lot I would write if I controlled the multiverse with a pen.
