I miss meeting my friends, which we mostly do in bars because we all have to travel some distance to get together and that's usually most convenient rather than at someone's home.I don't miss drinking in bars.
Have you been in a relationship with someone that’s younger/older?
I've had relationships with people who are both significantly older and significantly younger than me, and with people who are mirror images of me and some who are, on the face of it, polar opposites.
Yes, sometimes, although it's rare for me. It's usually because I have something playing on my mind.I find that writing it all down helps, as a list of things I need to do or remember the next day. Writing it down gives your brain permission to forget it temporarily, without the worry of losing something important. If it's on paper then it doesn't need to be in your head.I might then have a small alcoholic drink, just the one, and maybe practice some basic meditation or a form of self-hypnosis. It works for me.
Do you tend to collect things or regularly revise and get rid of them?
I can be a bit of a hoarder, I admit. I save things that I think "might be useful one day".
No, I've never lost one.I have some odd ones because if I get a hole in one then I throw it away, but I have other pairs that match so I save the remaining sock as a spare.
Something you love about yourself?
Wisdom, sense of justice, self-control, helpfulness, responsibility, kindness, respect, tolerance, perseverance, good judgement, humility, patience, loyalty, courtesy, sincerity, foresight, tact and intelligence. And modesty! 😛And humour 🤣🤣🤣
You've not answered a question for 10 months. Are Ask shoutouts really that broken that this only just arrived? To be honest, I'm struggling for ideas now. There are loads of things I *could* be doing, but none of them excite me anymore.
Where's the furthest you've ever flown?
Me OOL- Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. 24 hours with layover on the way there. 35 hours on way back.
The furthest was Sydney Australia, which I think was 26 hours in total including a few hours wait in Hong Kong. My return was similar to yours I think, because I had to wait overnight in Hong Kong Airport.
Do you still have any Christmas decorations up? I still have lights up in my window!
My outside lights came down on 5th January but I left my trees up an extra day, until 6th January. I was cooking a whole goose for epiphany because nothing says "baptism of Christ" like a nicely browned bird.
I've been lucky to have travelled enough that I know I wouldn't want to live anywhere other than in the UK.I also quite like the area I live in, having access to both City and countryside, but a bigger place would be useful. I could certainly use a couple more rooms.
