Do you have a hobby? If yes, what is it?

curly_fries540’s Profile PhotoSummer ☀️
I like gardening and cycling, but they're both outdoor things and I could really do with an indoor hobby that I can do in the winter months. I'm not creative when it comes to arts and crafts etc so I'm struggling to come up with much.

What do you think is needlessly expensive? 😒💲 (Try and come up with things that aren't expensive cause of world events, such as gas)

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Bottled water. Candy at the cinema when they're is a much cheaper shop right next door. Train tickets in the UK, like it can easily cost over £100 to go London to Manchester when I can fly to Lisbon for £54, or go on the bus for £6

If you send your CV to an employer how quickly does he respond to you?

Fontaine
If you send it unsolicited (so not in direct response to a job advert), you'll be lucky if you get any response at all.
If it was an actual job application, some employers always reply, some still never reply. It tends to depend on how skilled/professional the job was and how many applicants they get.
For a skilled job with few applicants I'd always expect a reply. For an unskilled job with 1000 applicants, you'll never hear anything unless they give you an interview.

Rant about something…

Ask's algorithms are damned annoying. As soon as I answer a few questions it immediately spams me with a load more, all out-of-date ones that I know for a fact were sent days ago (because I have read them on other people's pages). She are even from people who deactivated days ago.

If you could go back in time to before covid. Who or what would you miss the most?

BeckyDaisy95’s Profile PhotoBecky Middleton
I have made about 20 new really good friends (in real life) as a direct result of Covid. One of the best things that ever happened to me.

Does age really matter in a relationship I always get my fella is to old for me all the time Im fed up people saying that to wind me up

eireenmcaleer’s Profile PhotoEireen Mcaleer
As long as you're both of legal age, it only matters if *you* think it matters. Large age differences can bring issues that might but otherwise arise, but whether or not they make any difference to anything depends only on your own feelings and attitude. Personally, I think that the different life experiences that come from a relationship with a significant age gap provide more opportunities for learning and growth, and that often outweighs the perceived disadvantages.

How would you feel if someone sent you a love letter?

Shannon678900’s Profile PhotoShannon
Not sure, it's never happened. Flattered, I guess, and if it came out of the blue I would certainly give it serious attention and consideration. I know how hard it would have been to get the courage to send it.

Anyone real online or just fake accounts?

I don't see any fake accounts here, just very poor algorithms from Ask that send out questions from people weeks after they have deactivated.

Do you like western movies ?

Qatari999243’s Profile Photoآل ثاني
I never used to, but then I went on holiday to Kansas and Oklahoma for three weeks and I realised that most of the Westerns (the older ones especially) are based on true events and are actually historically quite accurate. Before, I kinda figured they were all totally made up and unrealistic, but not at all.
Like, you know those funny hats that the park wardens wear in old American cartoons like Yogi bear? They're real, they really look like that!

I gave my phone number to somebody but I didn't put 0 in the beginning. I put +44 and then the number without 0 . Will he manage to call me back or he will think that the number is wrong ?

Fontaine
That format was correct. +44 means it's a UK number, and if you include that then you should remove the leading zero.
So +44 123456889 or 012346789. Some people write it +44 (0)12345689.
What you ACTUALLY dial for an international number varies by country, but in the UK you would dial 00 44 123456789. Other countries use different dialling prefixes, it's not always 00, so that's why they write it as +44.
Whichever you actually use, most phones works out correctly for you anyway, unless you're using a landline.

Ok, different type of question than usual.. Why do you think I follow you? Genuine reasons? ☺️ Curious as to what you all think I enjoy about your pages..

What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever worn? (For me it was these zip up pants where you could turn a long pants into knee length pants or even shorts. They were awful 😂)

Hmmm ... When I was very young my mum used to do that thing where you thread a piece of string up one arm of your coat and down the other arm, and then tie your two gloves on to it so that you couldn't lose them. That was pretty bad.
