I have no musical talent at all, so it would have to be a really terrible 70's punk band or something. Anything where I can just de-tune a guitar to the correct chord and then strum that 🤣
It felt kinda slow, but then Christmas seems like it was just last week, and I just had to scroll back 5 days in an instragram conversation to find something that I thought had happened yesterday. So I guess that means fast?
I'm lucky to have been able to travel quite widely. I've been to lots of lovely places, but none that I'd want to live in more than England.I've been the USA a few times but there are a few States that I'd like to visit that I've not had a chance to get to yet.As for new countries, I'd like to go to New Zealand but it's so damned far, and I've never been to Ireland or Germany. The Baltic states (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) look interesting, so maybe one of those but I probably don't need to do all three.
(Can ignore this) i would just like to point out that anyone who comes to my profile and trys to break me under anonymity have no power and no threats. >Also to anyone who is being harrased please either ignore them or shut them down. And keep vibing happiness<
I've got a Korg Kaossilator Pro on my desk at the moment, that I've been playing with recently. It's a dynamic phrase synthesizer and loop recorder. This short 2 minute demo shows you what it can do (not me playing):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eBFNSZTtdM
Does anyone want a bunch of questions on a certain topic?
I'd love to ask you guys about stuff you love to talk about, so if so, let me know what topic, and I'll try my best! 💕💕
There are a couple of friends who spam me with questions sometimes, but on average maybe 4 or 5 a day from followers, and I guess the same number of shoutouts as everybody else, so 20 maybe, of which at least half get deleted as pointless "hi" questions or foreign language.
What has taken you the longest to get good or decent at?
I spent about 3 months learning to play just one tune on the piano. People who heard me play assumed that I was really good at the piano, not knowing that I could play literally nothing else.I have since repeated the task with a second tune. I'd rather play two tunes well than 100 badly.
Have you ever applied for a job that you were under qualified for? I'm currently debating on applying for a job, but recently noticed I'm not skilled enough for their needs.
It's rare to meet every skill and requirement for a job advert, so that wouldn't necessarily put me off, as long as I met most of them and was able to at least demonstrate an interest in the other areas and a willingness to learn. It would depend on the specifics and also what I thought the competition would be like. If it's a job that they're likely to get thousands of applications for, I probably wouldn't bother, but for some roles employers can struggle and may compromise skills for enthusiasm if you appear really interested and acknowledge your skills which fall short.
The world is overpopulated.Nobody who has more than one kid can call themselves an environmentalist. There is absolutely no point in recycling your waste or cycling to work if you're going to have another child and create another 80 years worth of waste, energy and resource usage. As for marriage, idk. For some people it works, for some not. It's a massvie commitment, emotionally and financially, and it's not something to be entered into lightly.
