do you think some people can live the rest of their life without a partner, if they have other things that bring them happiness? my 60 year old aunt has never been married, nor does she have children, shes dedicated her whole life to her job, charity and rescuing pets. and she says shes content.

When a girl decides they can't handle a relationship and they really like you but try to otherwise engage by being less interactive. Ultimately pushing you away because they don't want a relationship yet they thought they did, why does this happen? And does being a "really nice guy" mean anything?
