Good Heavens. Of course. I would never define my life by whether or not a man wants me. Yikes! That’s co-dependency disorder to the max. If someone feels this way, I urge them to seek counseling and create a life worth living for themselves, not for the validation of others.

Does the gender of protagonists in movies / shows etc. matter to you? Can it make you appreciate / relate to them more? Or is it how they're written that is most important? 👦👧🎬📺

I think how they are written is important, yes. Depending on the character in question, gender may or may not matter.

When I was in high school an ex-friend wanted a relationship with me and I said no, so he cried to all of his female friends and had all of them harass me on his behalf. They threatened to beat me up if I didn’t date him. I still said no. He’s a registered sex offender now, surprise surprise.

Get over it, friend. Seriously. She’s done. It doesn’t matter what you want. Relationships require a minimum of two making mutual decisions. Continuing to pursue someone who wants you to be gone makes you a stalker. Your feelings are valid, but any action toward her is futile at this point, and borderline unethical. Get counseling and move on with your life.
