No, it’s very common. Idealism is going to leave you disappointed. It’s best to come to terms with the fact that sex is extremely overhyped, adopt a realistic approach (research and educate yourself), and communicate very well with your partner. I cannot speak from personal experience (yet), but I fully believe an enjoyable sex life can be achieved via realistic and respectful communication. I do know others who have achieved this. You both have to be on the same page and communicate like mature adults.
Do you have any unpopular "ships" from TV or movies? (wanting two people to get together)
I can’t think of any unpopular ones. I figure all of mine are the same as everyone else’s, although I don’t have that many ships to begin with.

Regardless of being male or female would you ever get artificial hair, any sort of extensions in your hair? Do you already have that?
I would if it made me feel better. I’m more likely to invest in hair removal, however. Gotta love middle age.

Did you ever go through any "cringey" phases in life? Like some people cringe at their old styles or behaviour etc.
Yeah, I saw my ex-pastor the other day with his new family (he abandoned the old one) and that was very cringey. I was too loyal to people, specifically in a church, who did not deserve to have any control over me. I live with a lot of regret.
