I shared my loaded potato soup recipe on the Tasty page and it received a few thousand likes before Tasty removed it. I was overwhelmed by the comments and messages and deactivated my account for a few weeks. 😂

What's the best dating advice you have?

I don’t know why anyone would ask me for dating advice. I haven’t dated in 20 years. But sure, ok:

Radical transparency. Put your goals on the table early and often. You have to communicate consistently, honestly, and respectfully. Practice good hygiene (please!) not just on date night, but regularly. Always meet someone in public first to observe their behavior. Preferably, in the beginning, you want to have dates that don’t involve loud or distractible media because the point of dating is to get to know someone. So save the movies, social media, and concerts for after you’re already acquainted. Discuss date plans, and never force an ideal onto someone (I witnessed a man forcefully order a woman's dinner and would not take no for an answer when she opposed - holy hell it was cringe-inducing). You are not there to complete them, so get over yourself and don’t be a control freak. Nobody owes you affection (physical, sexual, monetary, or otherwise) no matter how nice you are or how long you’ve dated. Consent is a requirement, not a favor that deserves an award.

In summary, do no harm but take no shit. Communicate effectively. Operate in humility, for you are absolutely replaceable.

As long as I had seeds for growing, and everything grew as planned, I might be ok. I live in a wetlands area with several gardeners, so we could help each other out if necessary. The main challenge would be learning their language so that I could effectively communicate the arrangement. (They’re from Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand)

It would be a very limited diet, and not compatible with my medical conditions, but disregarding the medical stuff, I would be ok. There are farms very nearby, so I would even have access to proteins.
