My half sister traveled from two states over, drove me to have endo/pre-cancer surgery, and got me back home, even tucking me in bed. It’s the nicest thing she’s done, IMO.
To clarify, I’m referring to speaking against racism, not defending white people. I believe in equality and human rights, and if a bigot comes at me, I’m going to call them out and tell them exactly where to go (spoilers: straight to hell).Cheers, my dudes! 😃
They never stop learning. They accept facts without bias. They’re open-minded in regards to other people’s lifestyles, cultures, and truths, within reason. They’re not prejudiced. They realize their behavior is what defines their intelligence, not a school, title, or a piece of paper.
You got to go outside... 😲 How was it? Is it apocalyptic out there yet? 🧟 😂
This is the land of willful ignorance. People couldn’t care less, even though there are a lot of cases in this county now. I get glared at every time I go out wearing a mask. 🙄 I’m wearing it anyway, of course, because of those careless people. It’s good to see some health and food workers finally wearing masks. A bit late, in my opinion. Some still don’t bother and are feeling aggravated and defiant over the inconvenience. The weather is really nice. I’ve gone out and walked around a bit, to the peril of my muscles. It’s one of many reasons I’m in so much pain. Muscle activity is the enemy.I expect my area to remain on lockdown at least another week, but possibly until the end of April. I do expect the governor to reopen things sooner than I’m personally comfortable with, because she had to be pressured into the stay home order to begin with. She’ll soon decided what she did was sufficient and call off the order. May the odds be in our favor.I don’t live in the nearest big city, which is Mobile, AL, but I have to say the mayor there has made great efforts to improve conditions. He had thousands of masks and tests imported from a friend in Israel, no thanks to Washington or our governor. And thanks to several nail salons in the area for donating masks too. Who helped and who didn’t will be remembered when all of this is said and done.
I have an extremely not so serious question to ask. " Is the walls of the ladies restrooms in Public buildings adorned with words of wisdom, that the men's room has? Any enlightenment is appreciated. Thank you.
Here are this week’s so far. I haven’t played nearly as much lately since I’m quarantining, but I try to remember to check in every day and catch a few.
