What's the weirdest thing you believed as a kid?
For most of my childhood, I fully believed that the moon was my protector. That if I was in the car at night, for example, and the moon was out, that it was “following me” to keep me safe, and make sure nothing bad happened to me on the way home, or wherever I was going. 🥺
And I believed that the moon would indicate how “safe” I was by the phase it was in. Like, say it was a full moon, that was basically like ultimate protection, and I was totally “immune from danger.” 🌚
Don’t ask me how I got that idea, or where I came up with the phases of the moon having something to do with my safety. I have no clue… Just how my young, innocent brain worked, apparently! 😆
