What is your opinion of Marriage?
I disliked it immensely, and divorce court was one of the happiest days of my life. I am still so relieved all of these years later that it is over. It was traumatic in several ways. I’m not willing to talk about it on Ask. I hope if marriage is what you seek, you find someone worthy of the vows you speak.

What relationship advices do you have for the opposite sex?
Learn to truly listen and empathize. It’s the most important facet of communication. Realize that “love” is not jealousy or control. It’s respect for oneself and the other’s individuality and bodily autonomy. Giving space is necessary to mental health. Convey your feelings and your needs in a safe and effective way. Put everything on the table early and often. Allow disagreements unless it’s a deeply important moral or safety issue. Example- An acceptable opinion: differing food preferences. An unacceptable opinion: owning a partner’s time, body, and freedom.
Don’t expect perfection because you’re not perfect yourself. There are countless articles on relationships that are helpful. Utilize them.
