Yes, it do take. That's the reason they say you have to be very careful while taking a decision and always seek forgiveness and ask Allah to guide you.

Appreciate your input but this wasn't about taking a decision. This was about the inescapable things appointed on us in different forms that we just have to endure and keep our faith and pray and the fear that if, in a moment of despair or anger, you can't control yourself and all asceticism/your abstinence goes in vain marking you for one of the ungrateful ones.

What's one thing you really want but can’t afford? 🌝

I'm just wondering if this is gonna be temporary or life long. Scared if one unforeseen moment of weakness will destroy all the reward for this endurance and abstinence that I've observed till now.
All it takes is one mistake after all. Isn't it? To destroy all your reward?

They say that its not important what consequence you face for the choice. Making a choice in time is important or else this world will choose for you

The fig tree. I knowww. How she writes that her life was branching out before her on this tree. Making a choice meant to go further up a specific branch. (Dealing with the consequences of a choice). Which also meant losing all the other choices. How there were certain things she'd lose and gain with every specific choice. But if she kept waiting there for long, the tree would die and she wouldn't have been able to make any choice. (Time slipping away)

I wish , I wish .....🌸

I mean what the fuck is basic? If somebody listens to urdu/hindi or mainstream english songs or they like poetry then what's wrong in it? They enjoy sth that you don't just as the difference in people liking any other thing. Then why have you created pseudo-standards to judge people? Are you really better for liking sth and they aren't for disliking it?

HERO

No matter how much you make a fuss about self love and your journey towards maturity, in the nick of time when you're actually being tested, that is another story. And eventually you realize that life is much more complex than you can ever imagine it to be. So you just pray that you don't get tested. Of if you do, may He always hold your hand through it.

Nooo.. Losing all hope is freedom!

I dont think so. Hope is what keeps us going. From childhood you hope to become an adult, to become a doctor or sth and all these years that hope keeps you going. I mean why are you studying rn? You hope to get a degree so you can move onto the next step. You hope you and your parents will live long enough to see them proud of you. You hope that the good deeds will attract Allah's mercy and you wont end up in hell. You hope you'll end up with a person who actually loves you. You know how deceitful this world is but still you hope so. Why? Because hope is the essence of being human. Noww thatt, something happens and your hope is taken away from you, THAT is the worst. Nothing to look forward to is the worst.
