What 'gadgets' have you used on your horses?
if you're counting grackles and flashes as gadgets then those, and also martingales and side-reins to lunge in
I take it you aren't a fan of draw reins... why exactly may I ask? :)
oh dear lord no i hate the things!
most people ride draw reins to get their horse in an 'outline'... so they just end up pinning the horses head in which builds up all the wrong muscles in the neck because they havent ridden forward and connected the horse properly. plus it teaches youngsters to lean on them and be dependant on them, meaning the horse is relatively useless when the gadget is taken away
