I'm a Christian, but I'm non-denominational. Why should I tell her she's wrong, though? Lo is entitled to her opinions, and I honestly agree with her. I'm not going to judge someone because they're not the same religion as me, because who am I to judge someone just because they believe something different than I do? It's not my place.
Ya know what also didn't surprise me ? Simon. He just had to be the loyal dork at the end didn't he.
somehow how she did it was more painful than what I THOUGHT she was going to do. I totally agreed with isabelle. when she was talking to clary I was like, "PREACH SISTA."
Is it bad that I wanted to hug Jonathan right at the end of COHF
no I wanted to hug him too I was so mad at Cassandra clare I was like HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME LIKE HIM AND THEN TAKE HIM AWAY leave it to her to do something like that though. xD I was like, "You know what, I'm not even surprised D:"
If you could have dinner with any political figure, dead or alive, who would you pick?
can I eat with Jonathan Morgenstern pls
How do you create a great opening for a story?
There are multiple ways to create a great opening, but the main point is to try and capture your readers' attention. Whether it's with dialogue, a punchy first sentence, or opening with a paragraph setting the scene, you want to be able to grab their attention and hold it.As for choosing the scene you want to open up with, it depends on your plot and how fast-paced you want your story to be. Some writers like to jump right into the action, while some like to take some time before throwing their characters into the main problem that needs to be solved. For example, with my story Man Hunt, I throw my main character Serenity right into her main problem while with Faking Delinquency, I take a few chapters before sending her to Camp Sunshine Brooks, where the majority of the story takes place. I'm really sorry if this doesn't help D:
Ashley, I feel like if I were to post my story on Wattpad (I'm new to writing) that no one would read it. I don't know how books get so popular but I feel like literally no one will check mine out or give it a chance :-/
I'm sorry you feel that way! I'm not going to lie to you and say that you're going to get instant reads. Odds are, you're not going to. Some people get instant support--which is amazing for them. For me, it took a REALLY long time to gain the support that I did. It wasn't until chapter 20 something of IASWAA that readers really started coming in. And I started IASWAA a long while after joining Wattpad. But the main point of posting isn't to gain fame! Yes, it's a great feeling when you finally gain support, but we all have to start somewhere. Maybe at first people won't check out your writing. But, eventually, the readers will come. And even if it's only one or two, that's more than 0. You still have people who have taken the time out of their day to read your work! Just write because you want to, because you enjoy writing. If you write for fame, you'll never be satisfied.
I'm not sure o: I was told that eventually you'd be able to, but I don't know if it's available yet! i'll ask my mom and then i'll get back to you (if you don't send another question, i'll just post it as a question)
HOLY SHIT - JOCELYN AND - VALENTINE - WERE - THEY - MARRIED GAHHHH
I'm at the part where Simon goes into the institute. IT'S SO GOOD! I finally know what you were going on about with Shadowhunters and mundanes and Idris!
hey ashley! i was wondering if you could explain how to restore an account? because i kinda wanna do it with mine, but i'm confused about it, haha
hey tara! (: well, a woman from wattpad had already emailed me, so I just asked her, but I've been told that you just go to the support website and ask them to restore it o:
idk what I'm reading right now o: im kind of in-between books I wanted to pick another one last night but my closet light is dead. xD so I cant see any of the books on my bookcases
