and then I remember telling them that it was mine when it wasn't
and then being told I could take it home
and then I remember having a mental breakdown saying that I stole it and that it wasn't mine and that we had to give it back because I felt so terrible (this was like a year later)
and then I remember my mom telling me that my teacher had given it to me as a gift but I insisted that she only gave it to me because raised my hand when she asked whose it was
so. i don't know if i really stole it or not. but that is my story.
