there isn't much i can tell you, seeing how i'm starting my freshman year this year, but i think i can at least answer the questions you listed :DD

- the amount of years you attend depends on the degree you're working for. if you're going for a bachelors, you will attend for 4 years. if you're going for your associates, you will attend for 2 years. there's also a master degree, but i know nothing about that, sorry.

- as for classes, it depends on how many credits your class is worth. if you're going for your associates, you will need to earn 60 credits. if you're going for your bachelors, you will need to earn 120. a majority of the classes are worth 3 credits, while some are worth four. some are worth 1. (that's what my mom said)

- you typically start when you're 18, but you can also start when you're older or even younger (if you're advanced). the age you finish depends on the degree and when you begin (:
