can we like organize a pick-me-up for the wattpad writers that have been sent a lot of hate recently? (tenatheart [@chasingsunsets] etc and there are a few others I believe) any suggestions on what to do?

basically i want to read & write every day (did this in 2015 and succeeded!), eat at least a little healthier because these past couple months i've fallen off the wagon and ugh I'm tired of it, get myself a little more organized, and stuff like that c:

Do you have a step-by-step process you go through when planning a novel / series?

eh, not really. some basic things i usually do (i say usually because there's always an exception)
- i have a notebook set for brainstorming, where i pretty much ask every story related question that pops into my head and write down any ideas that i have. i absolutely love having these, and i'm glad i started making them. they're really helpful and fun!
- i start planning stuff like events, characters, and world building. sometimes i follow outlines, sometimes i wing it. though with characters, i always nab a character profile from somewhere (though i love elias's!). depending on the story, i either go into a lot of depth (for me, anyway) or not much at all. sometimes i don't even plan this stuff before starting.
- i cast the characters! most of the time i find actors, but sometimes (like with faking delinquency), i just find pictures of random teens on the internet.
- i make a pinterest board and a playlist. these are to help me with inspiration. the playlists are usually what i listen to while i'm working on the actual manuscript, unless i'm just listening to my saved songs list or spotify discover. if i listen to one story playlist while working on another it can screw me up xD
- i make a cover or two or twenty for the story in question.
of course this is all mixed together and done in different orders, because sometimes i refuse to start before i have a tight handle on the world and characters, while other times i just dive right in without knowing what the heck i'm doing.
there are probably other things i do, but I'm blanking right now.

What's one thing you plan on doing involving your writing career in 2016?

working on another second draft! all of the completed works on wp have been sitting there, just waiting for me to come back to them, and i will be doing just that this year! idk which one, honestly, but one of them will have a second draft (hopefully) by the end of the year yayayay!
