I totally support it and don't worry about what people will say because you're positive you're doing the right thing, so stick with it. and if need/ want arises come back. So can you bullet point the reasons for why you left? I'm trying to rationalize and not freak out here :(

- plagiarism has become a huge problem on wattpad (I've yet to have some *serious issues with it, but I didn't like where it was going. the lack of creativity these days is ridiculous)
- going on there has begun to feel like an obligation.
- sometimes I felt sick to my stomach when thinking about going on there. there was no real reason for it, I don't think. but obviously my subconscious didn't like me going on there at times.
- people seem to think it's my job to update when they want me to
- trolls
- the addiction to the website is beyond unhealthy
- unneeded pressure was added to my shoulders. like the pressure to say the right thing in my stories, to update because people expected me to, and the pressure of keeping up with everything.
- I'm not happy on the site anymore.
I'm sorry for leaving, especially if you were one of the ones who was patient and supportive. I just needed to do this.

Ashley, you left wattpad!! You're a brave soul. I want to deactivate but I can't really bring myself to do it. Also you make me sad because you left before I even have the chance to get to know you [really well] yet. I'm glad you're still here on ask though.

That's the bad side of posting your works online. Plagiarism will always be there. The best way is to have everyone report in order for a plagiariser to be deleted. You should accept it. That's how it is in the online world. Thought you figured it out by now. So many people lack the imagination

I know it will always be there. And I'm pretty sure there's a huge rally going on to get that girl deleted from Wattpad. I know that's how it is in the online world, and I have accepted it. I figured it out a long time ago, actually, when I had previous plagiarism scares. Those were solved, though.
The rule in my family is that if the plagiarizer doesn't take the work down (either willingly or by force), then I will not be allowed to write online anymore. I'm sorry. I just hope that this will be fixed.
The main problem is this: only a main concept or two was taken, so it just looks like a similar story. So the probability of Wattpad really doing about it is slim. I just have a huge feeling that her "inspiration" was from my story. It makes me sick to my stomach to know that this is based on a gut feeling and that there's no real proof.
People will probably say, "Well, if this is just a gut feeling, why are you willing to delete your stories because of it?" Well, seeing how she's a serial plagiarizer, she was a fan of me before I blocked her, and there were a number of things similar to my work before she rewrote it to make it "her own", I think it's too close for comfort. Yes, a lot of things are different. But seeing how she's stealing a bunch of people's works, I have no doubt in my mind, that that's not an original work either.
I'm just at a loss. A complete loss and it makes me feel like crap.

depends!
on wattpad, I'm more of a teen fic/humor kind of girl (though I do read the occasional sci-fi, fantasy, etc kind of book)
off wattpad, I read sci-fi, fantasy, stuff like that :3
reading lists are for the stories ive read or am going to read :3

how do you come up your account names?

sometimes they pop into my head, other times they're from songs (heart by heart by demi lovato <3)
sometimes they're story oriented -shrugs-
