How do you get over writers block (struggling to start chapter five of my novel even with the whole novel planned )

omg
im so sorry dude
okay so basically what i do:
- curse writer's block for keeping me from writing the story i really want to write
- find another project to work on
- if that doesn't work, find a different project to work on
- if THAT doesn't work and i continue and still can't find something to work on, i take a step back from writing and concentrate on something else (i.e. reading, netflix, story planning, etc.)
- when i've had enough of writer's block, i force myself through the craziness until i write something i dont think is complete trash
xD
things that usually help me find inspiration again:
- music that makes me think about the story (i create playlists for each story, just to get me hyped)
- plotting events that are going to happen
- looking at pictures that inspire me
- watching/making book trailers for my story

Do any of your characters names have meanings?

i don't deliberately give my characters names with special meanings, no. i just pick a name that sounds right for them. (:

basically: i did a watty interview with a girl who had a connection to someone from the company. she saw i was interested in being published and asked if i would like her to give said someone my email. i said sure and gave her my email. a little while after that, i received an email with an offer for publication (:

Most irritating thing right now?

i can't figure out how to copy these slide carnival icons onto other slides ugh
but "i'm good" by the mowgli's has kept me in a good enough mood that it's not all that irritating xD
