Those look so good Gossip Girl has been on my to - watch list for ever I should probably start xD

it's soooooo good! the first couple episodes are a little iffy (in my opinion), but then it starts getting SO GOOD

when it comes to published novels, i tend to stick to the fantasy/sci-fi/dystopian genres o:

OKAY.
So, here's how it works (sorry if my explanation sucks):
- First, there's the head of household competition. This is where the house guests compete, and two heads of household are chosen. The heads of household get their own special room with photos of the family and other stuff. They're also responsible for nominating four house guests (two each) for eviction.
- Once they've selected their four, the four house guests on the block (that's what it's called when you've been nominated for eviction) go into what's called the battle of the block. the two house guests nominated by one head of household face off with the two house guests nominated by the other head of household, and whoever wins is taken off the block and is safe for the week. the head of household belonging to the winning team loses head of household status and is put back in the pool of potential nominees.
- After that is the veto competition. This is where the two house guests on the block and a few others selected at random will fight for the power of veto--the ability to take someone off the block. If the winner decides to use the power of veto, the head of household will have to nominate someone else in their stead.
- Then it's time to evict. Each of the house guests (except for the head of household or the two on the block) go into this room and vote for who they want to leave the house. Whoever has the most votes is evicted from the house.
- Somewhere in there is the competition for the have-nots. This is where they compete to find out who is stuck eating crappy food and sleeping in a crappy room for a week.
- There are also a lot of twists they put in the show each year. This year, two people from the amazing race were put into the house as guests. Also, someone in the house has an identical twin that will be swapping places with the house guest throughout the summer (I'm so freaking pumped about this twist I just cannot).
- Aside from all this, there are alliances that are formed, a lot of backstabbing, and a lot of drama.
