The desire to be observed and understood was once (and still is) satisfied by the gods. Now we can implement the same functionality with data-mining algorithms. Do you think there is a possibility that people will worship a software entity peering at them through a camera in the future?

*question flies over blonde head*
Huh?

Yes, I'm Team Jacob too, a Werewolf is a lot more appealing than an anemic old Vampire!

Exactly! A warm, furry werewolf who loves and protects you trumps a cold, glittering vampire. And yes, my brain reverts to age 13 when I talk about Twilight. hehe

Are MRA's happy that Usher got custody of his kids, even though one of them almost died under the watch of his aunt? Or will they continue to blame feminism for alleged misandry in family courts? http://music.yahoo.com/news/judge-sides-usher-child-custody-battle-205056789.html

I don't know what the MRA's position is on this case.
However, it was an accident that could have happened at anyone's house.
But...can I take a moment to get on my soapbox about men who win primary custody of their children? Some are certainly good and involved dads. I don't want to generalize. But what I see happening, much of the time, is if the father gets full custody of his kids, and he hands the kids right over to his nearest female relatives to raise. Such as Usher did, to his aunt.
Why is his aunt, a housekeeper, and a maintenance man looking out for his children? I'm asking because I don't know why the mother was deemed unfit to raise the kids. Is it money? Does celebrity buy you custody of your children, even if you see them rarely because of your career, and your relatives raise your kids instead of their own mom?
I have more questions than answers on this one, and I'm too lazy to google all the details. lol

Jupiter's moon Titan, with a size comparable to the Earth's (about half the radius), is likely literally made of fossil fuels (something similar to natural gas). If we had the technology to mine it for fuel, should we?

Only if we've exhausted all possibilities for green energy sources here on our planet. And I don't think we have. We should probably figure out our own planet before we go raid another one.

If you had a choice between a truly exquisite mean or mediocre sex, what would you choose?

Neo_gs’s Profile PhotoScooch
"exquisite mean sex"....I don't get that. I don't like the idea of angry sex. So I'll choose mediocre, I guess.

Would you be happy to donate a little bit of your own happiness to those in the world who are less happy than you, in order to make things more equal. Why/why not?

Yes I would. I feel very fortunate in life. Anyone who is born in a "first-world" country, who has food, clean water, shelter, clothing, love, and security...is blessed. It's like winning the lottery.
*sips Starbucks* Awww....dammit, not again! They freaking gave me a cappuccino instead of a latte!! Wah, my whole day is ruined! I'm going to go over there and make a scene now. Bbl. ;)

Would you date a person with whom the physical chemistry was perfect, but who held completely different political and religious worldviews and/or was dismissive or opposed to that ideology (whatever it may be) you hold most dear?

JessePinkmanGS’s Profile PhotoGrackles Know Your Real Name
No, I don't think I could do that. Well....I might date the person, but it wouldn't go any further. I don't see how you could marry or spend your life with someone who is that opposed to what you believe in.

Have you learned anything on GS?

ColonelReb’s Profile PhotoBuster
Yes, actually. I learned about the waves of feminism and what they mean. I learned about what issues the MRM finds important. I learned that I'm expired. But most of all, I learned how much hate and bitterness people can hold close to their hearts and how they let it out in an anonymous forum by attacking the opposition. That if people aren't held accountable for what they say, they say hurtful and nasty things.
On the bright side, I have met a lot of nice, caring, and funny people who I consider real friends. :)

When was the first time you voted? Did you vote the first time you were old enough? What motivated you to register to vote for the first time?

GSCAustin’s Profile PhotoCAustin
I voted the very first time I was eligible and have always voted. It seems to me a slap in the face to the women who worked so hard in history for women to have the right to vote. The suffragettes were attacked, spit on, locked up, and lost friends and relationships for simply wanting the right to vote.
It seriously gets under my skin when people whine about and criticize the government, but don't vote. The way I see it...people lose their right to whine and complain about who gets into office if they don't vote.

Who is your nemesis on Y!A

Neo_gs’s Profile PhotoScooch
I don't really have a nemesis; I don't feel that passionately about anyone. There are a couple people I don't care for, but I think that's normal.

Just showing up with Boss - would you consider - and we'll do a wine trip to the vineyards for stock.... Mick, Baby! I've orang utaned up on GS to match Yes.....

I looked for John Slattery for you! And that concluded my idea of "fun" for a Saturday night. lol

I actually do have a pair of those shorts. I'm a little shocked to see you in clothes though, Glinda.

Well.....it's a public picture, so I had to get dressed. Too bad my face is the color of your shirt and your face is the color of my dress. lol We're so cute! <3<3 I think the shorts are nice.

Have you heard the latest on Mick Jagger? I never would have guessed he was into that stuff. Blimey!

Yeah, he's outrageous. But see, now I have him in my control (note picture) so I'm hoping he will still adopt me and I can rehabilitate him. xoxox

I have a theory that God gave us testicles as backup comfort for when we face rejection. "She told me to fuck off, but it doesn't matter, I'll go home and play with my own lumps".

Haha
Aww...they're your baby-makers. Treat them well.
