Have you ever went dumpster diving?

When I was preparing to move, I was selling a lot of my stuff on eBay. Some of it was breakable, and needed to be cushioned in bubble wrap, which is pretty expensive. So I would look inside the dumpsters behind shops which sold breakable things for bubble wrap and repurpose it. I remember looking behind 5 Below for bubble wrap, and finding about 10 perfectly nice little velvet stools in the dumpster on top, clean and new with tags. I brought them over to a charity shop. It seemed so wasteful to just toss out good stuff

Yes and I went to Catholic school so we had to say the Our Father and the Hail Mary too. And whenever an ambulance went by the school and we heard the sirens we had to cross ourselves and pray for them. And go to mass every Friday. I was the happiest kid in the world when my parents finally let me go to public school in the 7th grade. I joined every club I possibly could lol

I almost always just wear a pair of diamond stud earrings because they go with everything, and a ring I inherited from my grandma. Then I will add a bracelet or necklace sometimes if I am in the mood but usually it’s just those two things

What all do you watch on your streaming services? Anything good right now on for instance HBO Max? That's what I've got. Cancelled my Netflix subscription, but it's still good for a month more...

I want a kitchen renovation badly, but because we had a hurricane recently, there are no contractors available at the moment. My biggest beef is with my Formica countertops, so I was thinking of painting them. I’ve watched YouTube tutorials about how you sand the surface, use acrylic paint, and then a resin sealer. So that’s on my list to do soon :)

I googled the cast of White Lotus- (HBO Max) an awesome show! Cannot recommend it enough. Anyway, I wanted to see where I knew Theo James from. He does an American accent in White Lotus. Turns out he was in Sanditon, which I also loved. BBC I think? But I saw Sanditon on PBS. It just threw me for a loop because he went from playing in a British period drama to current day American. He is devastatingly handsome *swoon*

What is the best advice you have ever received?

That when you’re in a toxic relationship of any kind, whether it’s family or romantic or friendship, it’s not a failure on your part to set boundaries and then walk away when those boundaries are crossed. Because you can’t change people, and we must save ourselves and our own peace.

It’s called Projecting. Often when people have personality disorders like narcissism, for instance, they will accuse someone of doing the things that they do. So if they cheat, they accuse you of being unfaithful. If they lie, they accuse you of being dishonest. Or, if they cheat, they will say it’s because you “made” them do it and somehow it’s your fault. The reality is, they would have done it no matter what. They just want to blame you instead of taking responsibility. Walk away from these people, they don’t change

I think the point of Ask is to ask people questions. You’re asking people to ask you questions and have now confused me if that is a legitimate ask lol But I go by the philosophy that if what you send to people doesn’t end in a question mark, it isn’t a question.
