Hmm...I think it was some sort of erotica book that another girl brought to school, and a group of us huddled over it at recess and read pages of it out loud to one another. This being on the playground of a Catholic school. Which would explain a lot, wouldn't it. lolOther than that, I think "To Kill A Mockingbird" was probably my first foray into real literature. :)
I like the three-strikes-you're-out idea. Because, really, it could happen to anyone who has that third glass of wine they really didn't need. That's a wake-up call. The second time, you know you have a problem and need to do something about it, or start using a designated driver. Third time- they deserve to have the license suspended and (in my state) repeat drunk drivers have to use pink license plates to publically shame them.
Do you think we are inherent pessimists, considering how all of us say "Ask.fm seems good...for now"?
Maybe so. First GS was fun, then it got old, so there were chat rooms, then that got old and now it's Ask.fm. I think what will make Ask.fm be fun longer is when more and more people join. Getting to know people in this format is a lot easier than in GS.
Do you ever think about the possibility of an asteroid hitting Earth and killing us all?
My dad has a horse ranch. It's really not all that exciting. It's smelly and I get poo all over my nice shoes if I forget to change them first. Plus, he employs no cowboys. Yeah, epic fail, dad.
I shoplifted lip gloss when I was 13, came home, promptly showed it to my mom to see if she would finally notice me. Then when dad came home, he brought me back to the shop and made me give it back and apologize to the manager. I've been straight as an arrow ever since.
Who was that guy spamming you about Mick & Keef? What a loser.
It was Mick. He was feeling down and just wanted some validation. I think he feels better now, he skipped out to his car with a handful of my prescriptions.
Are you a hipster? Have you ever or are you currently dating a hipster? What are they like? I've seen one here and there on the street, but I've never really talked to one?
Glinda, I think you would look really good in striped shirts. Das ist alles.
Whew. I swiped a couple of yours, I was hoping you wouldn't mind. *sniffs them deeply*
Are there any non ask.fm GS'ers who could join us that would make you lose interest in Gender Studies Y!A altogether? Is GS about the people, or is it about the highly stimulating intellectual debates that are so prevalent within the said section?
Yes, GS is absolutely about the people, the personalities, and it's especially fascinating watching the personalities clash and people blowing up at each other, having melt downs, pitching hissy fits, and blocking each other...then it's so fun to watch those posts "Wah Why did so-and-so block me again!?" The things that get reported are the best, little flashes of insanity from bizarre minds. GS is a freak show, and I'm proud to be part of it. xoxox
Describe to me slowly, and in detail, your masturbation process?
Erm...well, it involves things that may or may not run on batteries, things that may or may not be produce, things that may or may not be kitchen utensils, and...Boss's picture. That is all. *blush*
At what age did you begin to feel maternal urges (if you did ever begin to feel those urges)?
I loved playing with dolls when I was little, and I have some younger siblings that I used to dress up and play with like little dollies. And having pets, and referring to myself as "mommy" to them is a maternal thing. And I love little kids. I think it's just inherent in my personality. As far as wanting babies...tick, tock, tick tock. *cries*
