Why are only black women independent?

Because their baby-daddies knock them up and then disappear? They kind of have to be independent. But I suspect you mean "why do black women refer to themselves as independent". And the answer to that is, it's like saying "thick" for over-weight. It sounds better than "he pumped and dumped me".

umm....curtsy? He's been knighted you know. Then I'd jump on him, being careful of his brittle bones. Offer him some inferior American tea or a glass of wine, and I would really like to talk with him. I think he'd be interesting. Although he's very guarded in interviews. So if I could get him a little drunk, maybe he'd open up a bit.

Of the movies and books you’ve read, which fictional character do you have a crush on? For me, it has to be Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. She’s hot. She kicks ass. She takes shit from no one. She walks around with three DRAGONS on her shoulder. How awesome is that?

Call me crazy, but Tony Soprano. Yeah, he's balding, middle aged, over-weight...but there was something about his character. (RIP btw, so sad).
Tony Soprano was a psychopath. But he was a lovable psychopath. The contrasts in him...one minute he would be whacking someone without conscience, and the next, crying in his psychiatrists office about his mother-issues. He loved his wife, (infidelity aside), he loved his kids, he wanted the best for them, he was all about providing, old-school. He was a powerful presence, a hard mob boss....who got panic attacks. What's not to love?

Do you prefer baths or showers?

I mostly take showers just for efficiency, but I do love my bathtub. It's insulated and it stays hot for an hour. Sometimes I fall asleep in there. You should come over sometime, there's enough room for two. *winks at you*

That reminds me of my cat. She will only drink from the bathroom faucets. And if she's thirsty and the water isn't running, she will sit on the sink and lick the faucet. Which is totally disgusting having cat mouth germs in my tooth-brushing water.

Yeah, my dad refuses to text. So of course we text him just to irritate him, and he texts back "go to hell" every time. haha "Dad, I love you" "Go to hell". It sounds appalling but we have a weird sense of humor and he knows we're just teasing him and egging him on.
Mom just got on Facebook and she's "like" happy right now. She's pretty funny.

Well, music is so subjective...there is no "right" or "wrong" there...and yes, foodies can be a bit snobby along with wine fanatics. But if I had to say one thing that gets a bit under my skin, is vacation snobs.
They are the ones who have to one-up you every time. And they always bring it up first by telling in detail about their last, fabulous vacation abroad. If you mention the water in the Florida Keys, they have to try and top you with a mention of deep sea diving off the coast of blahblah. If you say you stayed in a lovely hotel somewhere, they drone on and on about a Villa they have in Tuscany. Pretty soon you just want to say...hey, I lived a trailer park and we used to play in the sprinkler for our vacation. So shut up. lol

Favorite thing about winter- Being in the house when there's a snow storm outside, and not having to be anywhere. And...having firewood and some hot cocoa.
Halloween- I love Halloween, it's my favorite time of year. The neighborhood kids know I dress up during trick or treat, and I give extra candy, so they come running up my driveway full speed. I <3 kids.
