How helpful is your sense of humour when it comes to dating? Does it actually help you or does it create awkward moments everytime you try to make a joke?

You really have to have a sense of humor when dating. It just inherently creates awkward moments, getting to know one another, and feeling self-conscious. I've said and done lots of stupid things on dates before. Hence, *points to un-ringed finger*.

When you were little, how badly did you want a cat?

thecasualfanrises’s Profile Photocasual fan
As a child, I swore to myself two things when I grew up, I'd:
1. Have as many cats as I wanted. (I was cat-deprived as a child)
2. Never work a job where I had to be there early in the morning.
AIM HIGH IN LIFE! lol

Erm....did I do it wrong or is the only outcome supposed to be Hodor?
I'll guess I'm closest to Daenerys. Only instead of "Mother of Dragons", I'm "Mother of Cats". lol
Nah, I suck. I'm probably most like Sansa Stark, in need of rescuing.

Why my children will not be inheriting my £180million fortune: Sting wants his sons and daughters to earn their way (and says he has spent all his money anyway). Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson said a few years ago: ‘I am determined that my children should have no financial security. It ruins people'

thecasualfanrises’s Profile Photocasual fan
Children of wealthy parents should have *some* financial security....but yes, I understand the concept and agree. People who inherit wealth have no incentive to make their own way in the world, if they are money-motivated. They just make reality shows. :)
Did you see Michael Jackson's children get an $8 million allowance each year? Now, how is that good for them, in any possible way, except if they are being taught how to be philanthropists with that money? And I highly doubt that is the case. http://nypost.com/2014/06/08/michael-jacksons-kids-burning-through-8m-a-year/

Do you find the Chinese dog eating festival gross, or do you think 'well, it's no different to us eating Farm animals'. Personally, I think they're wasting useful animals. Dogs can be used for so many things, yet they prefer to serve them up for dinner.

Well, to us, dogs are companion animals, friends, part of the family, and yes as you say, useful....so to eat them is horrifying. But in another culture, cows are sacred and allowed to roam the streets while we enjoy a nice steak dinner. They must think we are barbarians.
Eh, to each their own. :) Hi HannahBabe.

Why is it the monarchy in the United Kingdom is so popular compared to other European monarchies? For example, the new queen of Spain and King Felipe VI. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/19/queen-letizia-dress-king-felipe-spain-proclimation_n_5511570.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592

This is the first time I've seen pics of the new King and Queen of Spain. I love her coat! *covets*
The UK royalty (William and Kate) is probably more popular here in the US because they are younger, we knew the whole family back-story, we got to watch the wedding and the birth of the first baby, and now a second is one the way, I think? Plus, they speak the same language as us. Spain is just more....foreign.

Have you ever purchased something that you knew was a colossal waste of your money, served no purpose that made it worth the price, but that you still indulged in for no logical reason? *scoots closer to handbag*

TheDeathOfLiz’s Profile PhotoBean
Erm.......I have an Origami Owl pamphlet beside me, and I'm circling all the charms and stuff I want on it. Nope, no logical reason other than:
1. I really admire entrepreneurs. The girl that owns this company started it when she was in high school, and these are people I like to give my business to.
2. I freaking love Origami Owl jewelry. Because it's personalized and so cute.
*admires your handbag*

In regards to your question on the convicted felon: what is your take on the article?

Well, it's just so unusual to see a mug shot of a felon who, had he played his cards differently, could have been a model. I think that juxtaposition is what catches the eye.
I cannot for the life of me, explain the fan page of women who are willing to excuse his behavior because of his looks. Maybe they are swooning over someone who is safely locked up; but if they had the chance for him to come visit them, they would (I hope) have second thoughts. *shrug*

Also, from the same channel, here's one about boobs: http://goo.gl/LSBkEw It argues that bras might not serve their intended purpose, because not using the ligaments that hold the breasts in place might atrophy them. Anyone a bra-burning convert?

GSCAustin’s Profile PhotoCAustin
Gah I could never go bra-less except at home. Plus, bras are pretty. However, I remember reading about corsets, and how women who wore corsets their whole lives had very weak backs as a result of it, and some couldn't stand up straight without wearing one for support. Supposedly because it weakened the back muscles from disuse. So....could be the same concept.

what is something that you have 'put a spin on'? you know, not lying, just....putting a spin on it? BQ: if you aren't already, do you think you would make a good lawyer? BBQ: in your opinion, what makes a good lawyer?

sscabss’s Profile Photoscabs
I've been vague about my expiration date before, putting an "ish" after it. BQ: nope, i'd be a sucky lawyer. BBQ: the ability to defend guilty people, and to prosecute people you know are innocent. And then to live with yourself afterwards.
As an after- thought, I'm sure there are many good people out there that are lawyers and who do a great job in their area of specialty, seeking true justice. :)

Been googling and there is a family with five children sharing the same birthday.. so not as special as I thought it was but still pretty awesome. How are you?

AspiringHousewife’s Profile Photoтeмple
I think it is still pretty darned awesome. No need to set a world record. *hugs* Hope you are feeling alright!

Did I ever tell you that I find you incredibly hot? And no, I'm not talking about your hot water bottle...

Many times, Lovey, and you know it is reciprocated. xoxoxoxox *swoons over your guitar god pic*
Do people still use hot water bottles? I don't think I've ever actually seen one before.
