It is a small bug which is is specific to either a boy or girl. Once the kid goes through, the cooty bug goes dormant. If girl cooties get on a boy, they will make him shiver and shake for a brief period (same for reverse gender)

It had to be more good than bad, otherwise I might have already been put in a mental institution or prison for having given in to Hell.
I also tend to believe we manufacture much of our own hell by the choices we make and path we follow. While we may not always find some Heavenly path, the path can still be on the positive side of oblivion.

My Merry Men and I robbed the Sheriff's manor last night. Took a pig cooked on a spit, and one pie. We ate the pig, and I said the pie was mine, since I was the leader. Do you believe the concept of *hero worship* of the military is taken too far in our country? I respect them for putting their lives out for the rest of us but I really don't agree with the pointless wars, destruction, deaths of innocent people we get into.
Some are heroes. Most are doing their job, an important one though.

New York is apparently going to be the first state to try and outlaw the declawing of cats. (Humane Society says " If performed on a human being, it would be like cutting off each finger at the last knuckle.") What's your opinion on declawing kitties?
When I was a kid, we had a cat front declawed. It seemed to run around and jump normally and do most "kitty stuff". I don't think that comparison is completely accurate. The cat was kept only as an indoor cat. Maybe it is mote like cutting off a finger at the first knuckle.
I wouldn't have a cat declawed though. I don't think it should be banned though.
