Ted 2 was okay. Nothing special, but watcheable. Waiting for AntMan and Trainwreck now. :)

I'm surprised you spent money on a Teddy bear movie. I've only watched about 70% of Ted on cable. It is mediocre at best. I don't think I'll see T5 opening weekend. I'm going out of town for the holiday weekend to visit friends, drink, and celebrate.

I'm still not used to the idea or sure about it, so it's not official or talked about behind "closed doors", but I pretty much spend every day with her, so I guess I should probably at least get used to talking about it here. 🐼

Not sure about dating the same sex or not sure about her as a S.O.? Being that we are all relationship experts, we can guide you. Whatever we say, do the opposite and it will all work out

How come some people have kids but they don't want to or delay married because they can't afford a wedding? Don't children cost more than a wedding ceremony?

CM made a good point. Simply getting married is cheap. Most states is <$100. Get married and have a reception later. People will still show up.

Post a picture of you wearing your favorite pair of sunglasses.

I lost them. They were in the flip down car holder and have disappeared. I might have left them at some summer event/picnic/party last year.

WOOOOOOO CONGRATS AMERICA. Gays can get married now! How awesome is that?! Anyone else celebrating this week?

It is a "decision" the gov't can make which seems huge but really isn't tackling real problems like: mental health (people killing themselves, others, or going to jail), felon recidivism, veterans who are forgotten by the country they fought for, social programs out of control, the huge national debt...shall I go on?

What's the first alcoholic beverage you overindulged on, and how old were you?

Christmas wine. I was maybe 11-12. It was prob only 1.5 servings, but when you are maybe 90 lbs, that is a lot.

Alien abduction is real. The voices in my head would never lie to me. And the voices in my head tell me to believe every conspiracy theory that comes down the pike. What do you say to that, buddy?

How do I politely tell a coworker "Leave me the fuck alone"?

You didn't give details. You can try the busy route. Always say how busy you are when he/she bothers you. If you have to, bring out the crazy. Talk about the voices in your head, conspiracy theories, alien abduction, etc. nobody wants to be around crazy.

Would you rather dance with dolphins or swim with wolves?

Almost nothing smells worse than "wet dog." I'll be doing the waltz with a slimy skin dolphin then.

Hey now!! Why does everyone always assume the noisy, smelly or nosy neighbors are always OLD? The yapping dog just MIGHT belong to some hot young chick, but you'll never know if you're going to make ASSumptions.

I have seen them taking the little yappy dogs out for a walk. One woman stands on the patio with the dog.

Yes, I would have thought as much. Hang in there. There will be new friends. And a routine at some point. What you are going through, is most likely the hardest thing a person can do. To leave familiar surroundings, and old friends. To leave home, in other words. It will work out, over time.

Yes, it will take time. Now, if only I could banish the annoying yippy dogs in my apt building. Why can't "older" women just have a quiet cat?

Okay, there's been some talk about cliques, about "popular groups" and about feeling at home, or a sense of belonging. What makes you feel like you "belong" on Ask, and if you don't feel that way, what is the reason?

Actually keeping my account active during my transition has given me a feeling of community which is comforting. At some point, I will have a home again or maybe I'll shack up with a rich woman who has poor eyesight (and thinks I'm super handsome).

Are we moving in and getting a cat Neo!

I am well past the stage of having a room mate. BTW, Glinda, Serena, and Grace have tried to be nice and offer you words of encouragement yet you dismiss them. You should attempt to be nice...being miserable is not helpful.

Piggy-backing Neo's question about feeling homeless, what constitutes a home? What's the difference between a residence and a home?

A home is a feeling, a state of mind. It doesn't matter the size or whether you rent/own. Home is a place of solace, comfort, and refuge. It is where you build memories. Currently, I have a residence which is where I eat, sleep, watch tv, and store my stuff.

Mr. Neo, you have recently moved from friends and family , to locate where your new job is. That has to be hard, What have you found, that is the hardest thing to get used to? And what have you missed the most? It would be interesting to know.

It is hard getting used to setting up my life infrastructure (physician, dentist, eye doc, mechanic, dry cleaner, car wash, and so on) and suffering the commute. Everything is more complex logistically. I miss my good friends and social interaction. Sometimes a friend would call and ask if I wanted to meet for a drink and be out the door in 10 min. Also, work is challenging. Being a seasoned veteran in my field, there is more pressure to get things done. Some work tasks are going well, others are kicking my butt!

What do you call it when someone picks that bit of lint from your shirt? De-FLECK-ted. What do you call i when you have a skin cancer biopsied? MOLE-tESTED. What do you call it when you have a coloscopy? You've been ANAL-eyesed.

I give this a double thumbs up!
