What's a popular food you find disgusting?
I am not really squeamish about foods. I might bulk at mopani worms which are eaten very happily by many people here.
Who was your idol when you were growing up?
I can't recall having an idol as such growing up. I had the idea of being the best in everything. :-) Thanks be to God for his grace. :-)
Don’t you think that everything is changing too fast?
I don't mind changes in technology and so on, in fact I think these changes are good and even necessary for us but I am shocked to see how the moral order is simply falling away.
What’s the best thing you have learned from your parents?
Wow, my dad is a very hard worker and incredibly determined and can stay really cool when in conflict and my mom is very loving and incredibly patient and kind to me.

How much money have you spent today and on what?
Today is a little young but yesterday I bought R10 airtime and R200 gas. R = Rand and US$1 gets you say R13, so roughly $0.75 airtime and $17 gas.

Yes, while we cannot expect others always to react as they should it would be very difficult if someone were never to feel remorse for having wronged one and generally lacked empathy. It would be difficult to build a relationship with someone like that.

Wow, I cannot think when our whole family has last had dinner together. I have a sister in America and one in Australia and both left quite long ago and we have not been able to all be together since then.

What is the one thing you always wanted as a kid, but never got?
An arcade game machine would have been really cool! Jokes aside I had a very privileged childhood and there was nothing that I really wanted desparateness which I did not have. Despite this I did end up partly stealing a collection of comparison playing cards - with cars and planes etc.listing their different specifications! Children!
