Jesus never went to America and there are not three levels of Heaven plus the book of Morman is not the word of God
I do not know if Jesus went to America or not, certainly the Bible does not make mention if it.I do not if heaven has three levels but I am certain that there will be varying degrees of closeness to God in heaven as God rewards us according to our merits.I do agree that the book of Mormon is not part of the Word of God.
if you go to Heaven we all will be there all equally united with God as God is no respector of persons
God does not show false respect to persons but he does reward us according to our merits. Those who have meritted more will receive a greater reward.
Do you believe only Catholics are able to get into Heaven?
No, it is possible for non-Catholics to go to heaven but they must be ignorant, through no fault of their own, that the Catholic Church is the Church founded by Christ and they must be living in accordance with their conscience.
I've seen the world spinning on fire. I've danced and sung in the devil's choir.
Hope you will give that a break.
Let's play a game (only if you're down for it, lol)! Write 4 statements about yourself. 3 have to be truths and 1 has to be a lie. I'll try to identify the lie and let you know which I choose and then you tell me if I'm correct or wrong. lol Go!
Hi Lee, I am well thanks and thanks so much for asking. I am still on holiday for a few more days and really enjoying it. It is a great privilege to be able to travel overseas. I find it so interesting to try to get a feel for different people and places. Many blessings!
Imanuel Kant once said that human reason is a tool we use to achieve the virtue of intellectual independence. With that in mind, do you think our freedom will be restricted if we fail to make public use of our reason? Elaborate on your thinking. Disclaimer: not a college essay, I am simply bored.
I think reason is there for us to find the truth. This does give as intellectual independence in a way but I would prefer to say intellectual integrity. I don't know if Kant was thinking about the need for individuals in society to apply their minds to build a strong and good society. His idea seems antagonistic to society as it seems to raise individuality above integrity. I hope these thoughts help cure your boredom. God bless!
Do you have a favorite quote or at least one that you particularly love? Would you mind sharing it? You can share a list too if you'd like.
Yikes Lee this a bit of indictment on myself. The quote I wanted to share comes from Scripture. "If a man thinks he is something when he is nothing he deceives himself and the truth is not in him." I think that is how it goes but I have not been able to trace it.
I'm Mormon. Jesus came to America told the Indiana about him. There are 3 levels of heaven we go to the first level and the Book of Morman is the Bible also
I do not believe that the Book of Morman is part of the Bible. I believe that revelation ended with the death of the last apostle.I do not know if there are levels in heaven I believe that even in heaven not everyone will be equally united to God though we will be as fully united as we can be and fully happy.I don't know who the Indiana is?I am Catholic and very pleased to meet you.
Strange how such simple words can make you pause. I have been staying with my parents and have not been cooking at all. I ate corned beef from a tin with toast and tomatoes. I do hope that your love is requited.
Would you ever do anything extreme? 🙃 like sky diving ?
I have bungee jumped once though long ago. At this moment to be honest I don't much feel like sky diving. I suppose the idea of risk for thrill does not appeal to me but risk for experience to appreciate the world more does. So yes I would sky dive if the opportunity came up. It is not something that I would particularly seek out.
