Does helping the needy count as serving god?

Yes, and a very excellent way too. In Matthew it is related how our Lord tells a parable of how God will reward them for helping the needy because it is not the needy you are helping but God himself. God associates himself completely with the needy.

What do you think the best way to worship God is?

The best way to worship God is the way he intended for you. So a businessman at his work, a mother with her children, a student at their studies.
The highest worship of God that one can be called to is the life of the hermit dedicating oneself to God in prayer. This though is only for the very few.

If Adam, Eve and Cain were the only people on earth, who was Cain's wife?

From what I know the Bible does not say that Adam and Eve and Cain were the only people on earth - in fact as you point out in your question the Bible implies clearly that they were not, as Cain takes a wife.
You might ask where did these other people come from? and by faith I know that they were descendants of Adam and Eve. You might object that the Bible does not state that Adam and Eve had other children than Cain and Abel but I would answer that the Bible does not state that they did not.

How do you feel about atheist? Do you believe they will go to hell or do you think they'll go the heaven if their "good" on earth?

Without faith it is impossible to please God and so it is impossible to go to heaven. That said no one can judge anyone else, that is what God does. It is possible to get to heaven by truly following your conscience but it is also necessary that we make efforts to inform our conscience. We cannot simply desire to stay in ignorance about God so as to avoid serving him.
A difficulty for the atheist is that the existence of God should be apparent to us. I would think this makes it particularly hard for atheists to get to heaven through ignorance. It might be hoped rather that the atheist is not really convinced of his atheism and at the point of death he calls on God.

What other tasks are underway as you are answering these questions?

I am just answering these questions and listening to the the Arsenal - Barcelona Champions League game in the background.

When did you discover god?

I was brought up Methodist and went to Sunday School as a child and have some recollection of this. I also recall as a child quite regularly at looking a picture Bible which was in the house.
I was confirmed with the Methodist as a school boy and had a sense of the commitment and joy of some of the youth leaders on a retreat in preparation for confirmation.
In my high school years I started to attended a few Methodist services alone.
Near the end of my school years I recall making a resolution that I wanted to get closer to God and started to read the Bible more.
The first real step to taking God seriously came at university when a friend introduced me to a group called The International Movement of the Churches of Christ. I did a series of Bible studies with them. It was at the first Bible study when I was asked if I believed that the Bible was the Word of God. I did believe this. Then I was asked if I would commit myself to following it wholly. It was clear to me that there was no real choice here and that I must and also that I wanted to. What was so inspiring was that the members in this group really believed that the Bible was true and acted on it completely. It was very inspiring.
I remained with the group for about 4 years. During this time I worked hard to share the joy that I had found with others.
At the end of the 4 years a friend from the group converted to the Catholic faith. I tried to help him to see that the Catholic Church was not scriptural. He presented a book to me which really shattered by Protestant ideas - "What Faith Really Means" by Fr. H.G. Graham
(here is a very poor free online copy:
https://archive.org/stream/whatfaithreallym00grahiala#page/14/mode/2up).
I tried as best as I could to counter the arguments in this book but found I could not. Really quite fearful of losing my faith I simply pushed the whole matter aside and kept on as a Protestant. After about 6 months or so I found that I was still troubled by the questions which I could not answer and I approached the Catholics who had helped my friend to convert.
At this time I started to read quite a bit, for me at least, about the Catholic Faith and the Protestant arguments against it. From my reading I found that the Protestant position was not logical. A key question was how do you know that your interpretation of the Bible is true?
Other books which helped me to see the strength of the Catholic position were "Rome Sweet Home" by Scott Hahn
(here is Scott Hahn speaking briefly about his conversion which is what the book is about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3ouCJ5hvBoStephenInd’s Video 136040059802 i3ouCJ5hvBoStephenInd’s Video 136040059802 i3ouCJ5hvBo)
and "Catholicism and Fundamentalism" by Karl Keating
(a brief review of the book http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/190241.Catholicism_and_Fundamentalism.)
After about 8 months I entered the Catholic Church.
This is the foundation of how God has revealed himself to me.

Why isn't god so open to us?

Why is God not apparent to us? Why do we not easily recognize God? The sin of our common father Adam has caused our reasoning to become clouded and so it is not easy for us to see that God exists. In addition our lack of training of our reason means our reason is dull. Our own sin hampers our desire for good and so we are slow to seek God. Society has turned away from God and so we are often confronted with false reasoning which tells us that God does not exist. We have a spiritual enemy who opposes God and so desires that we do not seek and find him.
But all these difficulties cannot stop us from finding God.
We just need to turn to him and ask for his help.

Who invented god ?

We cannot invent God but we can recognize his existence. Men though have invented gods, which are not really God but have been put his place.

Who created god?

You can say by definition that God is the one being that is not created, his existence is integrally part of himself.
How then can we be certain that God exists? We can see that things exist and yet all of things we see do not have to be - there was a time when they did not exist and we can see that they are changing and there will be a time when they do not exist. These beings cannot be the source of existence yet they point to a source of existence. This source of existence is God - a single being, that cannot be divided, nor can change whose existence is not given to him but is part of him, who is essential, who must exist and from whom all existence springs.
