Do you think a person can really be 'gender fluid'? Why or why not? Do you know anyone who identifies as gender fluid?

I have heard that there are people with both female and male reproductive organs. I think people can exhibit qualities which are typically associated with the opposite sex but here I think society can push people into homosexuality while they are simply expressing a part of their who they are as male or female. I do not think people can change gender and I do know anyone who identifies themselves as gender fluid.

Do you feel sorry for the girls complaining they haven't got a boyfriend to keep them warm this winter??

I suggest girls do not use a boyfriend to literally keep them warm this winter. I certainly wish girls to have great caring, stimulating, fun, kind, considerate boyfriends and trust that husbands are keeping their wives very warm this winter. (It is summer of here :-) )

Which is the place that you have always wanted to visit?

I don't really have a desire to visit a particular place: the monastery of Monte Casino, Mount Athos, Jerusalem, the Holy Land, the redwoods of Canada, the geysers in Yellow Stone National Park, the North and South Pole, Thailand, India, Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand...

Happy year, I hope this is a year full of blessings and successes, for that reason I would like to dedicate this song, to start with the right foot.

Thank you hope you have a very great year too! So kind that you should dedicate a song for my intentions! May God bless you abundantly. :-) I will have to say some prayers for your intentions in return.

Do you miss not having a job or are you happy as you are right now?

I am happy right now. I have to build up the ability in myself to apply myself to work.

What made you believe so faithfully in God?

Faith is a gift from God so I am very grateful for this gift. (May I never lose it!) If I can point to a specific point it was in my last year of school I wrote as a goal to get to know God better. Looking back I think I can say quite honestly nothing has been the same since then.

Do you believe in karma?

I believe that the wheels of God's justice grind slowly but they grind to dust. But I also believe in the indescribable mercy of God.

Do you know the bible scriptures off by heart?

No I have quite a poor knowledge of the Scriptures. I have read the Bible a few times and the New Testament quite a bit, at one time, so I have a general overview but I don't have a great memory and individual verses elude me.

Do you ever feel like you're wasting your life?

Yes! And certainly at times I do but I am really grateful to God who I believe is in charge of this tapestry and who never stops his amazing work no matter how I might try to mar things.

How's your day been? Just a quick look through your page I hope people on anon are not being rude to you? 😠 I hardly slept at all last night, I was so tired this afternoon.

Yesterday was a very good day though I slept a large part of the day having been up the whole night before and just did some small tasks with the rest of the day and slept early last night. This day is young at nearly 6 a.m. now. I have enjoyed catching up with ask.fm and tweeting vespers of yesterday so far.
Thankfully people are not that rude at all to me on ask. I have answered all the questions I receive and have not had to block anyone. Kind of you to worry for me. :-)
Hey it sounds like you and I were in sync even if a day apart. :-)

Do you think there is life on other planets?

Intelligent life? No. Other life? Possibly. What an adventure space is to mankind.

What would your ideal job be?

Yikes, I do not know. I have never given it much thought. But let me try now - I would love to run a small architectural practice that designed houses and smaller buildings and the concepts for even very large projects with an emphasis on structural innovation. While giving the large conceptual picture I would also want to be fully involved with solving the smallest problems on the building site.

Why would Jesus want people to eat his flesh and drink his blood? isn't that canabalism?

This is a very good question.
I suppose we might say it is the question that Jesus was asked at the time:
"'How can this man give us his flesh to eat?'" John 6:52
It would be good for us to reflect on Christ's answer which we find in John 6:53-58.
Having reflected on it a bit I too want to answer with Peter who when challenged with the real difficulty of what Christ has said and then is further challenged by Christ: "What about you, do you want to go away too?" John 6:67. Peter answers with faith while not being able to comprehend how this can be: "'Lord, who shall we go to? You have the message of eternal life...'"
So I hope that my answer is similar to Peter's: I do not fully understand what Our Lord is commanding us to do but I trust him and I know that what he commands is good.
We are dealing here with something which is miraculous. The fact that the Eucharist is truly Christ, truly the person Jesus who walked the earth and therefore truly God who came done to earth does not mean that Eucharist which, we correctly call his body, is the same as any other body. So here to me lies the solution. To eat of any other human body but Christ's is cannibalism but to eat Christ's human body in the form of the Eucharist is not.
I need to give this more thought and I hope that my answer goes some way to help you.
I think it is only tell you that the difficulty that perceive in answering the charge of cannibalism which you raised is not experienced by people more learned in the faith. Here is an extract from a discussion on the topic. If you interested to read more of the article because the questioner raises difficulties and the priest's final comment, again very brief, is interesting.
Thank you for this question. Very thought provoking. You have opened by mind further to the wonders that we are dealing. Were I only to understand them better.
"Answer by Fr. Robert J. Levis on 02-06-2001: Dear Vic, Bread and wine are constituted by their inner substance and external accidents. The act of transubstantiation destroys the substance only, replaces it with the substance of Jesus' body and blood, leaving untouched the external accidents. Thus one consumes the substance of Jesus' body under the accidents of bread and wine. The external accidents of Jesus body are not there. Were they present, then the charge of cannibalism would hold. God bless. Fr. Bob Levis"

Why is that anon so intent on convincing you that the catholic church has false teachings?

I assume that he is just trying to help me to see what he thinks is the truth. So really he is performing an act of charity towards me.

"Christ has said that anything done for the least of us is something done to him, so if we help the homeless we are in reality helping Jesus. " thank you! knowing this will help me be a better person and do more for others xx

That is really great. The particular reference in Scripture to this is Mt 25:45 but the whole passage deals with the necessity of doing good to the poor and needy Mt 25:31-46.

were the families happy with your nanny work?

There were difficulties with both families. The children like be very much though. :-)

your taking scripture out of context on communion Jesus is in heaven so you cant eat or drink his body or blood

You are not reacting like Peter. Peter did not know how this could be but he knew that Jesus was "the Holy One of God" Jn 6:69.
Peter waited and believed and at the Last Supper Mt 26:26 "Now as they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples, 'Take it and eat;' he said 'this my body.'" These are the words of the omnipotent God who spoke all creation into being out of nothing. "This is my body." And so it was. But let's carry on.
Mt 26:27 "Then he took a cup, and when he had returned thanks he gave it to them. 'Drink all of you from this,' he said 'for this is my blood, the blood of the new covenant, which is to be poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." There again we have it the words of almighty God "This is my blood." And so it was.
Peter had waited and he had seen the promise of Jn 6 come to pass.
Jesus had done this great miracle so the apostles had eaten his body and drunk his blood so they had had fulfilled Jesus' instruction to: "eat my flesh and drink my blood" (Jn 6:54) "real food" (Jn 6:55) and "real drink" (Jn 6:55).
How were all other believers to be able to do this? We know it is necessary God has told us now how will it be? Luke tell us: After changing the bread into his body "This is my body..." (Lk 22:19) he instructs them to do what? "...do this..." (Lk 22:19) And with that God has given authority to the apostles to perform this stupendous miracle. And he finishes "...in memorial of me." (Lk22:19) What greater memorial of Our Savior could we possibly have than being able to receive the actual body and blood, soul and divinity of Our Savior.
You might argue that the apostles have passed away, true but their office has not. As Matthias was chosen: "...the lot fell on Matthais..." (Acts 1:26) and "...he was listed as one of the twelve apostles." (Acts 1:26) Similarly other men have been chosen to continue the office of the apostles to this very day so that we may do as Jesus commanded and "...eat my flesh and drink my blood..." (Jn 6:64).
I pray too that you would receive this wonderful gift of Our Lord.
