I doubt it, I don't even know when they are on. I can't remember when I last watched the Oscars.
Why are you on socially media such as this?
Really largely to share my faith in God and to try to help people.
Why not married at 43?
While at university, I became a Catholic and soon after that I wanted to become a priest. Ever since then I have wanted to enter the religious life and serve God in this way.
It has been a long time since I have given someone a gift, I think it is a tin of nuts I gave to my dad and like 3 months ago!
How many times do you hit the snooze button before getting up?
I don't set an alarm now. :-) But when I do, when I did, when I had, I hardly ever hit the snooze button.
Lol no, it takes a lot of effort of doing absolutely nothing to bore me. :) I appreciate your answer.
Thanks you are very kind. :-)
Do you often daydream?
No, not really much at all. I think that in order to avoid sinful thoughts I have had to train myself over time to try keep my mind on God. I suppose, perhaps fortunately in some ways, daydreaming would often lead quite quickly to sin and so this has forced me into a practice of the presence of God. The fight against sexual thoughts only started as an adult when I was shown that this was displeasing to God. This is quite brutal in a way. What I mean, is that I was not taught to fight against sexual thoughts and they, through lack of being checked, became quite all absorbing as a boy and young man. Perhaps I am putting it too strongly, and, giving far to much detail. I think now I am suffering some the consequences of this lack of restraint and the fight taken up quite late in life to master these thoughts. So early in my life there was a lack of daydreaming which I think has a positive side to it, I mean that daydreaming can be positive. I know I might be seeming to contradict myself here, let me explain. I think that a calm mind not given over to lust allows the brain to expand and explore and to play. Somewhere I read that joy is sort of the life of learning and, I think, this joy is linked to a free mind. I have not mentioned the good effects of the work of the Holy Spirit which can stay in that which is pure. Which brings us to one of the things that you like. :-)Fortunately, today I can explore topics or things or situations or scenes and so in that way daydream and I do find I like thinking about stuff. I must still be wary though. I hope I am not boring you!
That can vary a great deal, well quite a bit. Most days I would shower once, quite often, not at all and quite rarely, more often. This is not my mother is it?
Are you married?
No. :-)
What junk food could you never give up?
Fortunately I am not addicted to any junk food.

Yikes, I am not up to date at all but I do really like Katy Perry's, "This is How We Do."
(Repeating a question.) What are you really terrible at?
I could not think of anything at the time but on a little reflection handstands and vaulting, a trial for me at school. :-)
Have you ever had a secret admirer or were a secret admirer to someone?
There have been times when I have fancied a woman and I think there have been times when a woman has fancied me.
Have you ever masturbated in a public place?
You might ask have you ever masturbated! I am going to pass on that question.
What’s your opinion on voluntary euthanasia? Do you think it’s fair that people should be forced to live and in some cases suffer unbearable pain and suffering if they don’t want to?
One may not take a life, even one's own.Living with pain is a terrible thing. I have never experienced this suffering first-hand. It must be a great test of one's love for God.That we should suffer is not unjust though, as suffering is a consequence of our sin. That Christ who is without sin should suffer is more difficult to understand. He carried our suffering. As terrible as suffering is, if we bear it well it is of the greatest benefit to us as it can win us heaven. Our lives here might end at any time. We must try to bear our suffering here well, looking at Christ. These sufferings, we must remind ourselves, are nothing in comparison to hell.
1. I am male. 2. I am 43. 3. I am Catholic. 4. I am alive. 5. I am taking a break from social networks.:-) <--- That is as close as I am getting to a PAP today. :-)
Can't say I have one. Their characters are seldom really fleshed out. Also, what do I know of science fiction. I suppose it would by really fun to have really unusual and interesting characters who can do all kinds of stuff. I don't know what it says about me but Jabba the Hutt comes to mind. Not that he does fun stuff but he is sort of unusual. I know his tail made a dialogue scene in "Star Wars" difficult. Also the main character from the "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" series is quirky. But what do I know!
The simple answer is they go to hell. It is through baptism that we are united with God. God washes away our sins and gives us his Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is what makes us spiritually alive. In order for baptism to take effect we need faith.God is not unjust in this. God made us to live forever but man rebelled against God and lost this gift. God, in his goodness, has given us a way to return to his friendship. That then, is the general rule, but we must always remember that each soul is judged individually by God.Here are the exceptions to the general rule that I know of:A child, who has not sinned itself, is thought to go to a place of natural contentment, called limbo. It is certain that the child will not go to hell.An adult, who desires baptism, but dies before receiving it, can go to heaven. An adult, who through no fault of their own, does not know of the need for baptism, can go to heaven. An adult, who dies for Christ, but has not received baptism, goes to heaven.I have used the word child here to mean someone who has not reached the age of reason and an adult as someone who has.I have put this rather coldly. I hope at least that it is clear. What we are speaking of here is the most amazing gift of God. He has allowed us to be his children even though, through our sins, we have killed his Son.God bless you Sophie. Please ask further questions to help to clarify these things.
I was not really brought up in a religious family. Though I was baptized as a child and went to Sunday school and was confirmed, of a sort, with the Methodists. It was at university that I met a group, who were really committed to following Christ, and, thankfully, I joined them. Lord help me to make good use of the grace which you have given me.
I don't think much of makeup. I think it can be kind to a person. I do prefer to see the person who really is more beautiful than the makeup. I think there are places where it is the socially acceptable thing.
