What's the best thing that happened to you today?

There were many special things that happened today but one that had a deep impact on me was a great sense of peace and of the presence of Our Lady while praying the Rosary publicly in church. :-) Thanks be to God!

Are you afraid of people?

Yes, but I overcome this fear with my fear of God. Fear God who can cast both body and soul to hell for eternity...

How fast do you fall in love?

Perhaps love is the work of a lifetime. In some ways I am still trying to fall in love with my God.

Do you like dogs?

Oh, very, very much. They are so much fun. Their apparent affection for us really makes me think how much God loves us.

Post a pic of your favorite shoes?

Not pretty but I am quite hard on shoes and these seem to be taking the punishment well. Play tennis in them, run in them on occasion, got them wet and walked over 20km in them, walk quite a bit in them too, once over 50km in a day. They are comfortable and they are light. Tacky but I wear them to the theatre too.

If you could go back in history, who would you like to meet?

The infant Jesus in the crib, our Lord and Savior the Alpha and the Omega, who was, who is and who is to come.

Who is your most hated celebrity?

I don't hate celebrities. In many ways I admire them - often it is there love for others which has caused others to love them, even if this love is misguided. I cannot imagine how celebrities carry the burden of popularity. There only hope is to stay very, very close to God.

Do you think someone who is a Christian but commits suicide will be forgiven?

We cannot judge someone who has committed suicide. There is a beautiful story of a widow whose husband had committed suicide by jumping from a bridge. She was wrought with anguish about the soul of her husband and went to St. John Vianney, whom God had blessed with being able to, on occasion, see the fate of souls. Her husband during his life and been tolerant of his wife's devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The saint assured the woman not to worry as, "between the bridge and the water" he had made an act of contrition. :-) What an uphill battle the devil has in some ways! Blessed be God!

What do you think people think of you?

Yikes, I suppose I should not judge them, or myself for that matter. I hope they love me for the Christ's sake.

Do you have posters on your wall?

No. But I do have an unframed print of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour. Cause of my hope, the Morning Star... :-)

What type of people are you afraid of?

None, but there are some scary people out there. I would not be a true follower of Christ were I to fear the devil.
