Bad news! The sexes should be helping each other to grow and achieve their potential and really get to heaven. Sexting is really just a way to ruin one's life and some else's. Not cool.
what have you been doing today?
Yikes, I have done very little today. I went to the rosary at the parish, tweeted lauds and vespers (prayers from the Psalms) and have been on social networks a bit. Apart from that I have slept today.

Yikes, in no monastery that I know of. I don't think cable TV would not be conducive to monastic life.
What's the last book you read?
I went on holiday about a year ago and read a few spy novels and thrillers, after a Google search, I got one of the titles "The Constant Gardener" by John le Carre. I did not find the writing interesting and it seemed like a novel written simply to expose bad pharmaceutical practices - noble purpose no doubt but it does not make for great literature. It is sad if there is so little justice in the world that we now have to write novels about the injustices rather than report them.
How can I become a Monk?
You must be male, Catholic, single, not homosexual and free from debt or duties which only you could perform, like perhaps looking after elderly parents.
You must try to discern if God is calling you to a monastery and a good way to do this is to place yourself under a spiritual director for a period of time who can help you to discern.
Then you must visit a monastery and do a retreat there with a view to entering. This is really where the calling of God is made clear and this is done through the abbot who is the "voice of God" in the monastery. There is a process of greater and greater commitments which are taken before the final vows. This whole process can take like 6 - 10 years.

How do you calm yourself down when you're really pissed off?
I have in the past prayed or got out of the house for a walk or run but recently I have given physical vent to anger. Once recently I took a large hammer and quite a heavy steel I beam profile and I tried to beat if flat. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Artificial contraception is seriously sinful.

Which famous person have you met or been close to?
The most famous person I can think of, but this by association, is one of Nelson Mandela's daughters, though she does not seek media attention and I did not know her from the media. Most probably in their own right a South African film critic, Barry Ronge who I shared a lift with. I see Google describes him rather as a journalist. I did have weird moments in jail when I was sure I recognized some Holywood faces like Tom Hanks, but everything was so odd there it is difficult to know.
The person I am speaking of surprised me greatly by what he did. In a transport back from court with 6 inmates in a tiny cage really squashed together he admitted to being a sexual offender. There was no way he could really defend himself from assault in this situation. This can be a really, really dangerous thing to do. I was really impressed by what he did because sexual offenders are considered scum in the jail system and assaulted and really either killed or forced out of "general population" into "protective custody." I find this really awful. All inmates suffer from being considered scum but that they should then should themselves do the same to some inmates, I found really awful.
It makes me think that we might find comfort in having people who we think are really bad so that we do not have to face our own terribleness.

Yikes, I am so sorry to hear that your dad treated your mom so badly and you too. You are kind to say that I would be a good father figure. Father's are really important to us because they help us to understand God that is apart from the love and care which they should give us themselves. This means you have really suffered a great loss. I am sure you think of God as your Father and that you are his child. You should really try to think about this a lot and how good a father God is.

Is it OK to use astrology and see psychics?
Even though I would think some psychics are okay, I would stay far away from them. I mean you might ask someone for advice who seems to have insight into people and there is nothing wrong with that. If people are using the spiritual world though to get their advice I would not go near them.

did you get compensation for being falsely arrested?
No. The arrest was one thing but jail was quite another. I tried to keep documentation of all that happened. The guys really messed me around. I wrote over 150 grievances. That was more grievances I realized later than they might for like a whole section in a year. Inmates said to me that when I got out I should get a good lawyer and sue. I was literally deported home though, in handcuffs and with two officers with me all the way home. The guys took the handcuffs off in Atlanta because it really was a bit embarrassing for them. :-)

Lol, thankfully pornography was contraband. This was a great joy to me. :-) Some of the books, one got 2 per week, were quite pornographic but I did what I can to counter this and wrote complaints. ;-)
Did you do a lot of drugs in prison?
No. At times I wondered if some stuff was not slipped into my food. I did not see too much of drugs in jail. The guys were very afraid of me in the sense that I made it clear that I was Christian and I did not want anything to do with that and honestly I never expected, naive right, never expected drugs in jail. On a few occasions I came across drugs and turned them in. Caused some trouble as you can imagine. On another occasion I was quite sure I saw a drug drop off by an officer and when I realized that I was really getting in trouble with the inmates and my situation could hardly get worse. I mentioned this drop-off to a sergeant, i think that was his rank. He was pretty high up. Things got pretty hairy.

Lol! Noooo! I must say the thought did cross my mind once or twice. Not easy to do without a lot of violence from what I saw. In the time I was in jail there was one escape.
