Want to make more friends? Try this: Tell us what you like and find people with the same interests. Try this: + add more interests + add your interests

is there much poverty in the area in which you live?

Not in the immediate area but nearby, yes. But it seems some of the very poor can be found in the rural areas quite distant from here.

What does make you angry?

If I think people are messing with me, telling me tall stories and leading me on. This is a trial for me. When the powerful mistreat the weak.

Yes, I aree, some of the anon questions are sick and very childish.

Yes. The childish ones I can still understand but the sick ones those are a little scary.

It's interesting how you don't find long distance relationships satisfying yet wanted to have a relationship with St. Theresa :)

She is a saint in heaven so no misunderstandings on her side and the saints are actually really close to us.

Can you elaborate on how you feel your pride is causing you to feel that you have sinned?

My pride does not cause me to feel that I have sinned. Though I suppose that condition would be scruples where you see things that are not sin as sin and like all sin this too would have its root in pride wanting to appear worse than you are. Okay let me stop right there.

Have you ever been friends with someone, drifted apart and then looked back at your friendship and thought: What was I thinking, this person is so immature?

No not really.

YIKES! High serotonin levels can lead to pulmonary hypertension and thickening of the valves of the heart or thickening of the heart itself. Since serotonin stimulates osteoclasts -- cells that degrade bone -- persistently high levels of serotonin can lead to osteoporosis.

This is not good news. I am sorry, I do not know my brain chemicals I think dopamine is the chemical that I might have high levels of. Would this be the opposite of low levels of oxytocin?

Are you religious? If yes, does your religion help you in any way, like in clearing up your mind of negativity, etc? How so?

I am religious. I would argue that everyone is religious by nature as we are all made by God and religion is about giving God his due.
I am Catholic. It is an amazing faith God has given me a teacher, the Pope, who tells me without error what I must believe about God and how I must act in order to have eternal life. God has given the power to priests to forgive my sins under some very light conditions to continue the work of Christ on earth. A great psychological help. He has given me his very body and blood to drink so as to convert me and to make me holy and to give me the strength to live as he desired! He has given us the bond of marriage so that we can come from and have strong families. He has given us Holy Orders to provide priests to continue the ministry which I Lord has done. He has given us baptism to bring us back into his holy family by forgiving our sins and bestowing on us his Divine Life the Holy Spirit. He has also provided special help at the time of our death so as to jump the final hurdle into heaven (Extreme Unction.) He gives us amazing teachings about the glory of heaven to give us hope and insight into himself the source of everything that is holy and good. He has given us Scripture a book of which he is the author though he has used men to write it over the ages.
All these beautiful things God has given us in his Church and this Church has been born from the side of Christ, God, who came down from heaven to assume our nature and to live and die for our sins and what a death which shows us his great love!
What more could God do for us. (And he has done a whole, whole lot more.)
Please forgive the haphazard nature of this reply but it has just tumbled out.
I should also mention the angels and saints who help us and intercede for us with God!

Did you make any other new years resolutions apart from meditating?

I think there was something else but I can't recall it!

If you could have any wild animal as a pet what would it be?

I am not really keen on wild animals as pets. It would be really cool if a wild owl would look in on me now and then.

I thought meditation was forbidden? Especially if you make last for 30 minutes! The guy in the bible got struck down for 'spilling his seed on the ground'.

These comments do not follow.

Do the same birds nest in your beard every year? I guess they'll be handy for eating your crumbs.

They are looking for a home at the moment. :-)
