What’s easy and looks hard?

Could be many things. Saying no, not really caring what others think of you or just being yourself everywhere.
But the most difficult I think, and nobody realizes, is romancing your bae while you drive a manual car in this traffic on these pathetic roads. Not that I have been in a similar situation. I just think it'll be incredibly hard. *trying to hold her hand* oops sorry bae *gear change*

Post something nice

I was out in the far off corner of the south yesterday where cars can't go so we parked it and our hosts came to pick us up for the rest of the way on bikes. One of those had a new honda 125 and he was very insistent that I drive it. It felt odd the way he was adamant but later on I found out it was their way of honouring the guests with presenting the nicest thing (a vehicle in this case) they had and it was customary. The same happened on the way back. It was strange but I was deeply honoured and humbled. They way they've kept such little traditions alive in this day and age is quite something.

Some people say these things that are very simplistic and you don't really pay any attention because it sounds cliché and of course you think you understand it. And you do, but you don't. It isn't infused in to your bones yet. That thing will only be effective if you don't just agree to it but digest it as well. And it seems too trivial to pay any mind to it. Anyway, one day you're doing your usual things and it just clicks. It makes sense like it's never before and the assurance and solace that it brings with it, you could swear by it.
I had this innate anxiety about finding the one. There were one or two people who I thought were but apparently they weren't and this person, a confidant, said this thing to me a while back, which is omitted for certain reasons, and it was trivial, I just nodded. And I'd include sth for this in my prayers too. And prayers take time. But Allah has been very kind. One day, that thing that the person said, felt fitting and my anxiety was put to rest like some reassurance came through. Prayers have a strange way of working out. Either you'll get that thing or your heart will come to be at peace with it not being with you and faith that God's plan will come through. We've all heard this before but have you ever felt this in your bones? It's quite a feeling really. Nothing like it.

The obsession of our people to not exist and die is very strange. Come to think of it, I think it's mostly borne out of privilege. The privilege of having your basics covered and having the luxury of eating good food, wearing acceptable clothes, having a roof over their heads, an internet connection, a phone, and complaining about life 24/7, how you don't want to live anymore. Wow

I can be creative but sometimes I have to reduce my efforts or care and affection for some friend who's in a relationship so that her guy doesn't feel short to her. I can get away with the technicality that I am being who I am and I have my own thing with my friend but it's just not right. The friend I care about doesn't deserve to feel bad or not as good with her guy because of me. And that is who I truly am.

So my shoe size is 45 which is the largest available at most places. Nike etc make 46 or so but those are out of the scope of our conversation for now. The number of absolutely cool shoes that I've had to let go just bec they didn't have the size? The number of times I've been made to feel bad over the size of my feet is just insane. Getting a good looking 45 sized shoe on Sale has just been a fantasy that I don't know what it would feel like if it ever happens. White people noise, I know😂, but how would you know what the heartache of falling in love with a thing as simple as a shoe and not getting it is? Even on retail, I get to hear things like, sir ye 45 maximum hai na, atay hi sirf 1,2 pairs hen. They sell out quickly. Of course, my life has certain constraints and I'm not even in some big city all the time and courier coverage is also a question mark at those times but still it doesn't hurt any less.
I think the 45 people know what they're up against and they're just waiting patiently for new collections to hit the stores and they pounce like some savages hunting for prey in stone age.

Ryan Reynolds or Ryan Gosling?

Yaar ye idk, pta nahi kar k har baat na kiya karen please. It's very off-putting. We all know that you know exactly what you want to ye kia drama hota hai phir? Like a toddler who won't just say it outright. Weird. And it's Ryan Gosling, by the way. Reynolds is funny but so is every other nigg in your dms.

Fewer things I dislike with passion than a bunch of people in a sitting spewing out their intellect. The way they say everything with such an unmistakable undertone of "being enlightened." Like they know better. Sometimes they don't even have one thing going right in their life and how they talk about life is just marvellous. The way they smirk at what somebody else just shared. The way they make somebody else's life or problems the centre of spotlight and share their "enlightenment" over that because that person is the socially weak one in that group. Vultures. It's more of an individual act though. Tabahi tab hoti hai jab is trh k ek se ziada log ek sitting men aa jayen lmao
I've got nothing against freedom of expression. People with different minds talk and behave differently. You won't come across many people who digest difference of opinion well while staying respectful than me. Even I talk about such stuff and I've got people who talk and listen and I do learn new things just by talking about life with them.
But you wanna know why I highly dislike such people? Because nobody who's worth their salt, who talks about life, knows that they Don't know Everything. They know that they don't have answers for everything.
