where do you keep your phone at night? it literally comes to bed with me and is kept under my pillow. sometimes i fall asleep with it in my hand

On my dressing table or bedside table. When I have to wake up early I put it on my dressing table so I am forced to get up and close the alarm. Annoying as hell, but it works.

Would it be important for you to incorporate emotional intimacy into your relationship with your mentor (career-wise)? Why?

In Arab culture, there is always some sort of sentiment between a boss and an employee. Bosses are considered family friends, not a random person you work for, at least in my family. Having said that, I think it would be important for me to consider my boss as a friend but not to the degree of emotional intimacy. I don't open up to strabgers easily, and I prefer to keep the emotional side of me at bay especially when dealing with my boss. I have to be professional but at the same time, there has to be that level of empathy where I can go to them in times of trouble.

How likely do you think it is for a person to fall in love while they're in prison? Elaborate, please.

I think it's more likely than I think it is. Prison is a place designed to make a criminal feel remorse for their actions, a place for them to reflect on their wrong doings. In a way, it's time out for the big bad grown ups of the world. But like most kids thrown in time out, they just try to find a way to become sneakier and a way to break away so they don't make the mistakes that got them caught.
Now the few who do feel remorse, well they are looking for acceptance. Society has shunned them for something terrible they have done so they look for acceptance in people like them. They want someone to believe in them. And, as cliche as it sounds, the want to feel human again. No wonder some criminals are exceptionally charismatic, all they have to do is speak the right language to some lonely inmate and they have a loyal "lover" for as long as they please.

What are some small things that can ruin your day?

Forgetting to bring a toothbrush. I brush my teeth after lunch and I fucking hate communicating with people thinking that my breath is bad. Paranoia is the worst.

I've heard so many rape stories in the last couple years, some of them taking place right in my hood. I never got used to them. There're no words to describe how horrible rape is.

List 3 virtues that you will definitely inspire your future child/children to have. Please explain your choice.

Respect is my number one. If my child is a disrespectful piece of broken clockshit I would feel like a failure as a parent.
Discipline would be number two. Now this doesn't mean I want them to follow the rules all the time 24/7. I don't do that myself. What I mean is that I want them to follow whatever rules and values that they set for themselves. It's really important when they grow up.
Lastly, the closeness of family. Family to me is absolutely crucial and of they grew up with so much independence that they don't rely on me and other members of their family, I know I am going to be upset. I want to depend on my kids just like they have depended on me in the past. That's something I have seen with my grandparents and aunts and uncles growing up and I want the same thing as well.

Not really. I don't see those words much and if it's said once or twice I really don't care.
