Are you familiar with novellae (singular:novella)? Have you read any that you could suggest me to read too?

I am :)
Animal Farm by George Orwell
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupèry
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
The Sign of Four and The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Coraline by Neil Gaiman
The Tales of the Beedle and The Bard by J.K Rowling
I am sure I have read more, but these are the ones that I hold dear.
Enjoy!

Louisiana, USA, has the honor of having the highest incarceration rate of it's citizens, in the world. A young man was arrested and charged with having enough pot for 17 cigarettes. ( illegal) in this state. But legal in many states. He was sentenced to 17 years in prison. Too harsh? Or not?

I would say it's too harsh. Murders and rapists sometimes get less than 20 years and this man is selling drugs to people who are willingly buying them. Even though it's wrong, I think 5-10 years in prison is enough.
He should have sold in other states if pot eas legal there. Actually, heprobably deserves 17 years for being stupid. Like come on mate.

Have you ever been called to school principal’s office? If yes, for what?

Age 4 - I was crying my lungs out because I wanted to go home
Age 7 - I called my ballet teacher an evil marshmallow
Age 11 - I got into a physical fight with another girl because she insulted my brother.
Age 12- for kicking a football into my principal's face (an accident, but I guess she was mad her nose job got ruined)
Fell asleep in class then proceeded to make death threats when I woke up. They took me to the nurse for that because my descriptions were "too graphic."
Age 13 - For starting a water battle and ruining my head teacher's makeup.
For telling a teacher, after she asked for my honest opinion on the matter, that her speech -that she wants me to read in front of the entire school - "sounds like it was written by a third grader who never learnt English" (it was a bad day OK?)
Age 14 - I didn't wear my uniform
Age 16 - For "plagiarising" on a school paper when in reality, the teacher lost my bibliography.
Age 17 - for giving "too honest" reviews on a school survey. WTF?

What would you discuss with J.K. Rowling and Mark Twain?

J.K. Rowling - I would discuss what the hell happened in "The Cursed Child" and it better be that I read everything wrong. Also, I want to rant to her about Snape and the Maruders because it should not have been "Albus Severus Potter." But rather "Remus Hagrid Potter."
Mark Twain is such a character. I would most likely discuss religion, literature, and humour with him. His wittiness and dead pan style amuses and graces me with wisdom simultaneously almost too perfectly.
