It's not always up to the individual. One of the main causes of obesity in the US is poverty. Are you suggesting people just stop being poor?

Woah woah, where the hELL did I suggest that. Calm down mate. I already stated there were many causes. The only time I'vee been to the US was when I was FOUR years old. I don't know the society intimately as the people living there do. All I am saying is it is up to the individual to make sure their intake is as healthy as they can be, to the best of their abilities. I understand fast food is quite inexpensive and you get a large quantity, as opposed to healthier options, unfortunately. That's, in my opinion, a worldwide issue everyone needs to focus on.

How was the weather like in Russia?

We went late March. And there was stILL snow. Really really cold. But you kinda get used to it after your third day. My dumbass of a friend didn't bring gloves, so I gave him mine and from then on it was a test on which one of us can stand the cold longer. I won, but I got sick :'). Worth it though!

I have. I accidentally spoiled the "Merlin" finale for myself. I couldn't believe what I read. Cried for...ever? Yeah, foreVER afterwards. *sigh*
I generally don't mind them thAt much. We have a love-hate relationship. If it's a whodunit, and it gets spoiled for me, I tend to look for the clues in the following episodes. Here, I don't mind them.

I do. We treat them with respect and we expect the same back. In the end, they just want to make money to send back to their families. We have never given them a reason to "betray" us or lash out.

Ah yes. Had a feeling this would come up. Our human rights record is shit. That I admit, and with all these cases coming up, I don't blame you for having a bad picture in your head. But they are not the only thing my country has? And we aren't the country with the worst record either.
I am saying to come visit to debunk all these myths and allegations people have against us, the PEOPLE. Not the government. There is a distinct difference that many seem to not understand, or worse, ignore.
Plus the way you phrased the question makes it sound like we are luring tourists here to feed some violation-of-human-rights fetish and we ran out of victims.
I don't live in a bubble either, Anon. I know what is wrong and I know what is right. Again, my country is not perfect and I am not claiming it is. But visiting will, hopefully, clear many misunderstandings the global community has about us. We are improving, it's slow progress, but progress nonetheless.

Anon, I can't say I know how you feel, but I do understand. But you HAVE to, and I mean *HAVE* to, realise that your self-worth is never determined by how others perceive you. Your accomplishments should be done so you yourself learn more, experience, and develop as a person. If you don't feel proud of yourself, why should others. It starts with you. Always will.
Yes, external support is appreciated, amazing even; but sometimes, we need to keep going and drown the outside out for a minute.

Cook? ha ha HAHHAHAHHHA. Mama does that.
As for house chores, well, we have maids but I clean my own room, and do my own laundry. I like taking responsibility of my own things.
