Good afternoon everyone, Why are cartoon suns almost always drawn wearing sunglasses?
Afternoon. There could be a number of reasons.
1) The sun is warning everyone against itself suggesting that it is self-destructive and it is not "sunny" or happy at all with itself which is why we should treasure it and love it.
2) The sun is being blackmailed by a bigger star and it has to conceal it's identity so it doesn't explode.
3) The sun feels left out and want's to see what the big deal is about sunglasses.
4) The name itself. Sunglasses, maybe the sun thought that those glasses belonged to it so it decided to wear them.
5) The artist was/is an idiot and/or was/is high. Like the sun who is concealing it's bloodshot eyes.
