Hey guys and squad! :) Here your question: Where's your favorite place to be? Feel free to go into details. -Stay classy awesome peeps-

My grandfather's study... I am honestly thinking of replicating it when I get my own house. And the library of course. Being surronded by books soothes my soul.

Entertainment of the day!

We are a bilingual family and my grandmotheronly understands Arabic, not English. Same goes for my 22 year old cousin. He understands English but bits and pieces. My 11 year old brother is an English wiz and it is his preferred language. So my brother recently read a book that he was dying to explain to my grandmother. He was rambling in English and the look of absolute horror on my cousin's face when he was told he had to translate everything my brother said was probably the highlight of my week.

It's been a while since I asked you a question. Sooo, I've decided to ask you one. Hmm. Do you think that lust takes place in the equation of love? Is it a major part of it? Or do you think it's of no relation to love? ** هل للشهوة موقع أساسي بمعادلة "الحب"؟ أهي ذات أهمية كبرى؟ أم لا علاقة بينهما؟

Sufiyan0mar’s Profile PhotoSufiyan BassAss
Why hello Sufiyan, I can't say I missed you mate :P
Lust has something to do with it? I mean romantic love is complex and very.... human. Lust on the other hand is instinctual. And since humans are just animals in the very end and the reason we have sex is to reproduce then, really, lust probably evokes love? Or does love evoke lust?
Damn you, I was going somewhere with this.
* throws hands in the air * I JUST A BABY SUFIYAN DON'T DO THIS. I HAVE ONLY EVER LOVED FICITIONAL CHARACTERS GOD DAMMIT.

Hey guys and Squad! :) Here your question: Do you think religion is necessary? Feel free to go into details. -Stay classy awesome peeps-

Hey Alessandro! (you have a beautiful name by the way :D)
Here is the thing, I was born in a Muslim household in a Muslim country, Islam is the religion I practice and live by. To say the least, I wasn't exactly given a choice, my greater family on my father's side are rather strict. However, I was blessed with understanding parents. They didn't force the religion on me and instead answered the many questions I had. You see, my childhood was not spent in my home country, I was in Europe for a large part of my life. So in a way, that shaped my understanding of my religion and why my parents and greater family were worried to some degree.
Religion to me is important. It is a lifestyle and every religion in the world has very similar rules:
Be kind, be respectful, give charity... etc. The differences are who you pray to I think.
Religion is a guide to many. On how to live, think, and communicate. Yes they are different but at the end of the day they are all similar.
But that doesn't mean that you're a good person though. I know plenty of Muslims who preach absolute bullshit because they mix culture and poor upbringing together with religion. I know plenty of atheists who are literally so damn respectful and open minded yoi just to hug them and say "thank you for not being an ass."
In short, it depends on how you look at it. Religion doesn't control every aspect of your life, yes some require you to pray and fast; but really, the core of every religion is to be a good person. Set an example to others and lead to goodness.
*hands out nachos because of all the cheesiness*
Sorry guys :) and if you read this far *sticks a gold star on your forehead*

I'll be going to a state university in a week, and since I haven't had much exposure to large social crowds outside a Christian environment, I'm a little nervous. Do you have any advice for me on how to communicate my faith in a respectable way and stand up for my beliefs without making enemies?

theonlyems’s Profile Photolionessence
Well, Ems, respect is the most important thing. If someone is being rude to you and you show them that you are the bigger person, it shows everyone how mature you are and it will show Christianity in a good light.
Know the person you are talking to and their stance on religion. Some people find it uncomfortable to take about, some find debates aboit religion an interesting topic, and so on. Knowing your conversation partner's views will tell you how to proceed.
As for standing up to your beliefs, again I stress respect. Calmly explain why their point is ignorant/wrong. At the end of the day you are not hurting anyone and yoi are doig the right thing bu expressing yourself.
Good luck, Ems! I hope you have fun and you enjoy your time :D

Do you think humility is more a trait of the "poor" than of the "rich"? If so, how would you define such terms like rich and poor? Why do you think it is the way it is?

The poor. Poorer people tend to live very simple lifestyles. They are already thankful with what they can get and they are humble about it.
Rich and poor are very versatile terms. Rich could mean expensive. Rich could mean powerful. Heck, rich could mean that something tastes deep and delicious (e.g. rich dark chocolate). Rich could mean having more in things like manners and knowledge.
Poor could mean the same thing. Poor manners, poor taste, poor clothes (cheap)... etc.
It is the way it is because in ver species you have the weak and strong. In the case of humans, we have social status and wealth. Our lives are surrounded by money. Yes "it doesn't buy happiness" but it damn well buys chocolate so who are you going to believe?

I swear to God that was the best answer I've gotten so far 😂😂 I'm laughing so hard right now 😂😂 I really thought you had something going on right there 😂 tbh the answer is relative, so we need more data to actually get a proper answer 😂

We aim to please :D. I swear in the beginning it was serious then I got lost and just went "ahh fuck it"
Oh I see. Interesting..

What would you do if you caught someone doing a poo in your back garden? Would you A) shoot them B) rub their face in the shit C) beat them up or D) do fuck all?

E) call the fucking police because I have common sense.

This woman once came up to me in a concert and said "I'll have a lager shandy" and I replied "there's a bar over there" and I pointed towards it, did she honestly think I would buy her a free drink lol?

I think so, lol.

Hey guys, I'm finally back and hopefully to stay this time. The last two weeks were amazing and really eventful, and 👽 is feeling so much better. Onto the questions, How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheelson luggage?

CuriousandQuestioning’s Profile PhotoCuriously Wonder
Glad to hear it man :D.
America was too busy trying to not let it's ego down to think about luggage.

What's the best way to genuinely know a person?

Know their parents and who they look up to. Also, keep them around for 4-6 months, you'll get a pretty good idea by then.
