Harry Potter (series) by JK Rowling To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee Animal Farm by George OrwellThese two aren't fiction but they're worth reading:The Prince by Machiavelli The Art of War by Sun Tzu
I can't get over the fact that France started a new government in a tennis court because King Louis XVI locked the doors of the original meeting place.
Oh, the admission tests here are absolutely MAD. More than a million students competing for less than 30,000 seats for medicine. And that's ONLY medicine. ^_^
Santa Maria.... mate... WHAT? THAT competitive? Good luck, I meant it. I hope you get into whatever you were aiming for. You got this *we are the champions playing*
Tell me about a less commonly disliked trait that might make you dislike someone? (i.e. not things like rude, racist, etc.) Hopefully this makes sense lol 😅
Imagine you're hosting a dinner party with 5 guests. You can choose whoever you'd like. The catch is: one has to be a relative (SO's family counts), one has to be famous in the arts, one has to be currently deceased, one has to have the first initial A, & one has to be a politician. Who's invited?
Relative: Grandfather Famous in the arts: Quentin Tarintino Currently deceased: Robin Williams A as the first intial: my great uncle Politician: Barack Obama
Do you make use of the bookmark option on your internet frequently? If so, tell me about one of the things you've recently bookmarked. If not, in what other ways do you keep track of important websites?
I wouldn't say I am a frequent user of the bookmark option. I usually keep the tabs open if it is a new website that I found particularly helpful. Otherwise, I go on them enough to remember.
Should people with personality disorders be held accountable for their behaviour?
It highly depends on how mild or severe a person has said disorder. If they are able to "control" it, then they can't exactly blame their disorders. It can't be something you blame when you lash out or do things wrong. But then again, it depends on the disorder itself. Multiple personality disorder and schiziophrenia can be particularly dangerous if not treated properly, in which case, a person can't be held accountable because they are literally insane.
For those with the anon feature turned off, what made you decide to turn it off? Do you ever think about turning it back on? For those who still have it on, why? Do you receive a lot of anon questions?
Hmm, I am the latter. I guess it's because I understand that sometimes people have questions and they don't want to reveal themselves. I wouldn't say a lot, a moderate number.
Are you prone to rejection of weakness? Or do you embrace vulnerability, both yours and that of others? Why?
In largely depends on the setting, situation, and people involved. I always revise myself, check for vulnerability, and reflect on my actions to see if there was anything I did that may come back and be a pain in my neck. I usually don't embrace the vulenrability of others unless the situations call for it. Toying with someone's weakness is a little too easy and predictable, that's why they hide it. In order to manipulate a person well, you have to know what hurt the most, and that's something they never show unless you observe them carefully.
I don't know if it's just me or that everyone rushes into black holes regularly. I feel too fragile and can't even think and I don't know what to do with my life. Advice ?
Can you alter the circumstances? Can you change the sequence of events so that it plays to your favour? I am sorry to tell you that I don't have good advice, but what I can tell you is when you hit rick bottom there is only one way, and that's up.
