True story: my most liked picture is me, my dad, my mum, and younger sister in front of the pyramids. A camel photo-bombed the picture. My dad was smiling but managed to look pissed off and I was sick that day so I looked like I was in between deciding to kill myself or everyone around me.
What noble profession do you want for yourself, Rana?
I aspire to be a forensic pathologist. That's my first choice. There is just something about homicide victims that fascinates me. Whether it's gunshots, knife wounds, poisons, etc. it's just... intriguing.I like the hands on approach too. In a way, getting to know these bodies helps me understand my own in terms of technicality.
What did you do as a kid that seemed normal at the time but which now seems super weird?
Rolled around in mud (I do that now, but it's accidental... I used to love mud).Would never ever ever take a nap because I am an idiot. That weird thing where I can teleport from the sofa to my bed.Cry immediately when things don't go my way. (That is now done on the inside)Break out in violence when confronted with a new specimen such as a coloring book. (The outdoors were more my thing)Apparently talking like an old woman with no teeth was perfectly normal. (????)I had a weird obsession with supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and the fact that I could say and spell it...My brother and I forming a "Fly Killing Squad" with my brother. Complete with deadly weapons (our dad's shoe), eye safety gear (swimming goggles), and rubber gloves we found under the sink. *We took this job very seriously by the way.
How would you describe the personalities of your cats?
Princess. They act like the own the house, they practically demand attention and we are so blinded my our love for them we give it to them. And they are very curious, as most cats are, they hate hair dryers though. A lot.
My name is: Rana *All my male ancestors, a cat, an old dying elephant species, the Indian Constitution, Hamlet's to be or not to be monologue* and then my last name.
I am an absolute sucker for fireplaces and camomile tea with a book. Add a comfy chair and a cat that loves snuggles? Epitome of relaxation.Except we don't have fireplaces here because the coldest it's ever been in midday was 18 celsius.
If I told someone about an experience I have read in a book as if It were my personal experience, Am I lying?!🙂
It depends if it hits you on a personal level or not. You can't exactly tell someone you fought a dark wizard when you were a year old and was forced to live under the stairs now can you?
