Do you know any ways to deal with grief constructively rather than destructively? Someone close to me is near passing away, and I'm having a bit of a hard time.

To be honest, I am in a very similar situation to yourself. And they obly way I know how to deal with the situation is spending as much time with them as possible. Creating new memories with them. Bringing up old ones.
From a religious perspective: praying for them. To me, being spiritual calms me down and it gives me some type of reassurance. Of course medical help is needed, but praying never hurt anyone.
