Hello! How has your week been up until now?

Hello matey! First of all, thank you so much for asking! You know what? Not half-bad. Ramadan in my grandma's house is always an unpredictable time. How has your week been?

Why is having a job more tiring than studying? (Feel free to disagree)

I think it's mainmy the fact that you have the freedom to quit if you choose it and the fact you get paid to do somethibg that you, hopefully, enjoy.

Why do some think that kindness and a desire to see others experience joy as a weakness or detriment?

AhmadBakheitMndo’s Profile Photo∆HMED
Because they are terrible people, to be honest; and jealous that whatever joy someone else is experiencing, isn't the same as the false joy they delude themselves into having.

Do you exercise on a regular basis? (Feel free to inspire me)

n11shake’s Profile PhotoShake
I DO, ish. The past few weeks have been slow, but as a former couch potato, this is what I am going to say:
People going to the gym for the first time or working out are going to feel inadequate because they see all these people lifting extremely heavy weights and running at break neck speeds. But remember this, they started somewhere, and they might have been worse than you. The only reason they got to be to where they are now is consistency and determination. Your intentions are in the right place, now your actions should reflect that.
Another thing is start slow. Don't tire your body out and you could possibly injure yourself. The beauty if working out is that you learn about your body more and it's limits. Move at your own pace and then every week or so, test that limit. Do more reps than you think you can, run a little faster when you feel tired. All WITHIN your capabilities though, again don't injure yourself.
And this is something I never thought I would say, but get a workout partner or sign up for classes. Your social life will increase and the atmosphere is extremely motivating. Working out with others, at least in my case, helped me way more than workin out by myself.
Wish you all the best, Shake! Trust me, after you do this consistently for a while, all that dopamine people talk about when working out will reveal itself.

Do you think “I miss hanging out with you” is better than “I miss you.”? Why?

Yes. Hanging out means you enjoy one's company and you're willing to "sacrifice" some free time to be around them. "Miss you" is too vague for me taste and a little clichè if I am honest.

How can people learn to accept what is out of their control?

AhmadBakheitMndo’s Profile Photo∆HMED
I would say talk it out with someone, because that really does help. However, assurances oy get you so far and only work for so long. I suggest looking at things from a logical perspective, but this can be dangerous, logical perspective doesn't mean placing the blame on someone else.
Strong negative emotions like grief and sorrow make us do strange things and most the time we didn't inflict them on ourselves. Everything does happen for a reason and maybe if we weren't so self-absorbed we'd realise that not everything is our fault or our doing.
Head? out of ass
Tears? dried
Hotel? Trivago
I rest my case.

Why is it hard to admit when you're wrong?

AhmadBakheitMndo’s Profile Photo∆HMED
Pride is a pesky thing that gets in the way more often than it should. We don't want to admit we're wrong simply because it means you lost. It's evidence that you miscalculated and this unfortunately translates within people as "you're an idiot."
Mistakes exist, learn from it and move on.
