Do you find motivational words to have much effect on you? Do you read motivation or self help books?
It depends on my mood. Though I believe that true motivation comes from within, so if I need a little encouragement, then I know I am not 100% into whatever it is I "want" to do.
A Don in Sicily. No but in all seriousness, the human brain and body as always been a fascination of mine. Diseases especially, the way such tiny tiny organisms have such a large effect on something much larger that itself reminds a person how fragile and strong they are. So forenis pathology is my ideal career. :)
A study showed that social media is one of the most biggest causes of depression for this generation
It had also listed some of the causes:
1-ppl feel sad when they see someone is happier than them on social media
2-ppl feel sad when they see others struggling in their lives on sm
What do you think?
I think that social media has lost it's original purpose along the way. Most people now use it as an online diary, not that that there is anythig wrong with that, but they misubderstand the dangers. People can be so manipulative sometimes.I don't doubt that it causes depression, you make a single mostake and it's documented forever, it's nerve wracking. To be honest, I personally don't understand how someone can be affected by a stranger's struggle to the point of depression. Call me heartless, but I think that's taking it a bit too far. But then again, that's just me. :)
At what point does it become appropriate to throw paint balloons into a noisy neighbor's backyard while they're in it? It's Mother's Day & my poor mother is laid up in bed w/ the mother of all migraines while our neighbors are partying w/ the music so loud we can hear it indoors w/ windows shut!
Ugh, noisy neighbours are damned nuisance. You should have thrown them then and there. If they asked why, tell them it was your mother's wish and you wanted her happy.I hope she's feeling better!
No you buffoonish hole punch, being drugged means you're high. Judging myself is not considered judging. Also are you judging me because I judged myself which isn't considered judgement at all? Inconceivable!
Egyptian mummies. They are blessed and prayed over in very sacred ceremonies to put their bodies to peace. If they wake up you know someone did some very bad shit.
Guys always have it easy the way. They don't have to endure the pain of periods and giving birth.
Not always. While I agree they are free of the burden of cramps, periods, mood swings, and pregnancy, if you look at it from a social point of view, there lives aren't always as easy.Yes, women are seen as inferior to men in many parts of everyday life, we fight for that, we are speaking out and there are many men who agree with feminists. Now I don't know about other societies, but in mine boys are expected to behave a certain way, think a certain way, and have certain things accomplished by a certain time. That would make anyone go insane. Every gender has their own social problems so it isn't really fair to generalise. But biologically? Hell yeah they have it easier. Periods are from Satan, I swear. But then again, us girls are hotter so it's OK. Sorry men :').
