How to shut down constant chattering and noise in head. It's like 100 tabs loading and surfing at one time 🤯 I care about 1000 things at a time

Do u know the life story of moses?
Have you read story of hazrat younus and the fish?
Do u know the story of fire and ibrahim?
Do u know story of hazrat yousaf thrown in a well to die?
If you read them,
you'll know you cant control anything about your fate.
It was ALMIGHTY, who made the sea calm, and ordered it not to swallow the cribble, it was HIM, who made the waves take him the pharos palace.
It was him who didnt let the aligators see the basket,
It was him who saved him from the pharos guards fishing in the nile.
It was him who made the pharoh go blind and not seeing the man growing up who would end his rule over egypt.
Imagine a man gone mad killing every boy born over a dream, cant recognize for a single moment that a man grown young in his palace could be the that one guy.
Do u think pharoh was that stupid??
NO!! it was the ALMIGHTY'S WAY.
so why do u think your brain needs those open tabs? Bugging your thoughts and over burdening your brain?
Believe in Allah, fight with the demons inside of you, they keep messing woth your thoughts to harm you. Pray and make a connection with your lord.
Do u know how safe you feel when you have you brothers behind you? And how safe the world feels when your dad is around? While They are just ORDINARY humans.
IMAGINE, you have HIM BEHIND YOU, protecting and guiding you, and his angel army guarding you. Making things easier for you.
Why are you troubled then???

Do ablution and prepare for Namaz in a place where no one is around. Tell yourself that you need a clear head before talking to Allah. That's it. Focus on the prayer alone, and even if you feel like there's something urgent that needs to be done, abandon it. InShaAllah it will help. 🌼

What I try to do is listen to something that would shut my thoughts; sometimes it's music, sometimes it's some show, and sometimes I just call someone. Try to shift your focus on one thing; something loud.

I know being vegan is something u don’t like about me. 🤣 But I believe you know where I stand on that potential topic as well. 😛🤣💗

Water🤠 which is life supporter but can also be destroyer🙃
It would be wonderful if I could control it 🤩
Furthermore, the research shows that being near a beautiful water source and walking beside it can improve the mood & at that time, I can also play with water like creating some temporary figures 😜 and can also display to my friends😀, can do surfing on oceans🏄‍♀️, swimming and seeing aquatic creatures😄, and probably much more (: ☺️
Moreover, I am a water sign so that's why water controlling ability I think is good 🤠🌊

Adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers of Reddit, what's the closest you've ever gotten to dying?

Jumped of a 30ft cliff after my buddy. Since he went first the Rock was wet at the point of the jump. Fell about 6 inches away from the wall thought I was going to smack into some rocks at the bottom. While I missed the rocks at the bottom I hit the water on my side. Air immediately left my lungs. It was one of those moments where I was swimming for the top of the water and wasn’t sure if I’d make it before I passed out. Obviously I made it, but I really though for a moment that was it! Jumped out of a helicopter when skiing. My skis were stuck in my parachute so I dropped them 4000 feet in the air. This was in backcountry Switzerland so I had to make my way 40 miles to the rendezvous in 3 days hiking. Not a fun trip. Almost fell 4000 feet without a parachute, was frost bitten, almost died of infection, and got sent back to Canada without my personal belongings.
Oh, quite a few times. Surfing big waves blitzed had a few wipeouts where I didn't know where up was... Warzones, for sure, several times... Trying to jump onto a trampoline from the roof to catapult into the lake... Actually trying the stuff with the wagon from Calvin and Hobbes near my parents' house as a kid... Locking us in the camper, starting a fire in the kitchen while I tried to make coffee, and getting stuck on a bunk when the table fell apart when my cousin and I were 4... Waking up on a deserted island after losing a boat after a tequila misadventure... Waking up in a body bag after mixing alcohol and heroin.

online surfing on social media would make an ideal image of beauty in your mind and you will never love your spouse the way they deserve . honestly . and peace of mind and heart will become unachievable for you.

To be very honest, the attachment with socially available content and the link between a person who does online surfing and his mind which is still in the process of becoming mature gets distracted a lot which results in an imaginatively ideal life. As a result of such distraction, the person become partially blind to see the beauty of soul and fall prey to stress and pain. Halal relationships are meant to keep you from becoming a distracted soul.

Winters or summers ?🤔

Where did you go on your last vacation and how much did it cost you? Was it worth it?

I went to Cornwall for a camping holiday for the week. The campsite had a private lake you could swim, row and fish in. We also went surfing, kayaking and coasteering. Detoured to the Eden Project on the way back. The most expensive thing was eating at Rick Stein's seafood restaurant where it was about £120 for two people. All together, including the petrol to drive the 300 miles there, I reckon we spent about £450 for two people.
Toronto! It was somewhere in the mid-hundreds for all 3 of us to go for a weekend. We drove there, visited the CN Tower and aquarium, walked to a food festival, and spent the evening playing in a park. The next day, we breakfasted in the Kensington Market area and spent the rest of the day walking and eating around Chinatown before driving home. It was absolutely worth it! I really enjoyed going without a full itinerary and staying in a relatively cheap hotel within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to explore. France and Belgium, staying in Amiens, Ypres, Brussels and Bruges. Travel and accommodation was probably £500 each I think. More was spent on food and good beer. My next holiday is going to be Cancun in October/November for a week. I’m going to the Beloved Playa Mujeres which is a properly fancy all inclusive, adults only resort. That cost £1500 each, including flights. It will be worth it. I plan to make the most of the all inclusive stuff!
Total 300€ per person for about a week in Malta in February. We had already visited Malta in August 2016 and still had a few things on our list that we didn't have time to do back then, plus I wanted to escape our harsh weather for a bit. It was worth it. Malta in February is much warmer than Germany, where I'm from, in February (though of course way too cold to swim in the sea or something). It didn't rain at all I think. There were relatively few tourists and the hotel was cheap because it was off season. All in all it was probably the best destination possible for the date and budget.
Las Vegas back in June. Between the two of us, probably $2000, most of which was spent on airfare (we live in a small city in the middle of nowhere and no close big cities), entertainment and food since EVERYTHING is marked up there. We had a lot of fun though so it was worth it. Split a room with my mom and aunt, but they paid for most of that since they wanted the fancy suite with two bedrooms. We saw Rod Stewart, the Michael Jackson One show, and spent a day going to the Grand Canyon. Not big on gambling, but we still had a blast.
Had a mini break in the National Forest for a couple of nights with Beard and Child. Paid minimal moneys for a YHA room, self catered on the cheap, visited an amazing outdoor activity centre on clubcard vouchers. Kiddo made friends, we sat around drinking cider in the sun. Including petrol and food we probably paid about £70 for the weekend. Cheapskate breaks are my favourite, we're hoping to have another one in a few weeks.

Jamila you said that you like Bali a lot and I want to go there can help me and tell me what best things to do there and how to arrange my stay?

I don’t like Bali, I LOVE Bali, it’s my favorite destination in the whole world 💞
This really depends on your preferences but I could give you the overall picture and you could decide how to plan your trip.
The island central part is called Kuta, this is where you can stay in a modest hotel that won’t cost you much, and if you are into surfing there is a great beach there for surfing and they have all the stuff that you would need, there are also many malls in the area.
If you want a more luxurious stay, you could stay in a private villa in the Seminyak area, it has many amazing villas with private pools and stuff like that, and the area has many shopping malls too, there is also a beautiful beach there where you could have a romantic dinner if you’re traveling with your loved one.
If you like temples you could go to the Ubud area, it has many temples that are beautiful and are very high above the ground where you could have an amazing view of the ocean, and there is a monkey forest there where you can walk among monkeys but take care of your stuff like hats and phones because they really snatch stuff out of your hands 😅.
There are many other attractions that you could try on the island like the Bali Swing where you swing between the trees on swings that have many heights up to 80 meters I think, so you could choose the suitable one for you but regardless you would have an amazing view.
If you are into water parks, they have Waterbom Bali, it’s like one of the largest aqua parks in Asia and they have many many amazing and thrilling rides.
If you like adventures, there are many treehouses where you can swing between tress using zip lines or even swing between them like Tarzan 😄 there is also rafting where you could raft in a fast river for like 2 hours and you could get out of the raft for some time to enjoy a beautiful waterfall and it’s so fun, also there is the ATV ride where you could explore caves and waterfalls on your ATV.
You could get on a cruise tour and go to one of the islands around Bali and enjoy your day there where you could do many water activities like banana boats or parasailing and other stuff, you could do there the sea walking where you literally walk in the depth of the water with a group of people and see the different beautiful fishes and other sea life down there.
I tried to give you an overall picture as much as I could but there are literally many other things to do so if you are interested in knowing more just send me using your username and I could give you more details and help you arrange your trip, good luck ✌🏻

How good of a swimmer do you have to be to surf? How good of a swimmer do you have to be to surf?

But to answer your question I would say being able to tread water/not drown for at least 15 minutes in any depth of water. Hold your breathe underwater for at least 30 seconds. If are afraid of the deep end at the pool then I wouldn't get on a board.
Swimming is the best preparation for surfing you can do that doesn't involve a board. You don't have to be a competitive swimmer (though at least one Olympic swimmer was also the top surfer in the world) but you have to be able to swim comfortably in surf as big as any you hope to paddle into, under conditions of fatigue and stress (eg just wiped out and held down by a set wave).
You need to be prepared for the surf you're in. If you're not a good swimmer, the worst thing you can do is go out in rough waters. If you can swim decently without exerting too much energy, then use your best judgment on what you think you can handle. If you have to question yourself, it may be too rough.
I am 36M and reasonably lean, and work a busy desk job. I grew up in India and so never had the ability to learn to swim. Pools are rare and my parents were already paying for private education that was very expensive for them. I have lived in Australia for over 17 years, a nation with a great swimming culture and teachers. So I finally took the plunge in Sep 2019 and joined a Masters Club. The first few sessions felt like I could not keep my body above water. But as I learned to relax, I gained more confidence. Also watching tonnes of free content on YouTube was helpful. The pool that I train in is 50m and mostly quite shallow, so I could do drills safely and practice myself several times a week without paying for extra lessons. You can also ask lifeguards to watch your technique and give you tips. And I train with the Masters club 1-2 times per week. Great bunch of people! Now after about 20 months (including the Covid closure for several months through 2020), I can do up to 2.4K per session and keep up with the others. My fastest is 50m in 40sec freestyle. So I believe with consistent practice and some coaching you will be able to achieve Masters level ability in say 12-18 months. Hope this helps! Good luck :-)
I started swimming at 41, I am 55 now. It took about 2 years of swimming almost daily to become OK. It took 3 years to become average masters swimmer, but it took about 7 years to be in the top 30% of competition in my favorite events. I am still improving my stroke and efficiency and have not slowed down from when I was in my late 40's.
Still working on being able to do a crawl without feeling like I'm dying halfway across though... Pool getting closed for 4 months due to Covid restrictions just as I was getting good put a big brake on my progress.

How do you feel about being in and around water? Perhaps you have any favorite water based activities? 🏊‍♂️🏄‍♂️🚣‍♂️

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
I love the beach❤️. It's my second home. I love all activities from playing cricket on the beach to surfing. Australia has the best beaches in the world🏖️. So it's a no brainer for me.

How many hours a night do you sleep? Do you feel well rested after your sleep or is the number of hours due to work/kids or other commitments?

I have noticed I just automatically wake up after 7 hours. Even on weekends when I could technically "sleep in", I really only ever do relative to when I went to bed. Like if I stay up until 12, just automatically awake at 7:00. I've come to find out that 5-6 is my ideal number of hours. More or less and I find myself to be more tired. I do have a very physical job carrying lots of weight up stairs and ladders and walking about 4-12miles at work 3-4days a week. Other then that i rarely work out. And some Monsters to help haha
I usually try to sleep 7.5h but when that that isn't possible I try to sleep 6h. I try to keep my sleeping time a multiple of 90min. since that is roughly the length of my sleeping cycle, i.e. I feel better waking up after 7.5h than I would after 8h.
The only problem I have sleeping are my heart medications, since they make me wake up at least once or twice every night. Before starting those I would sleep like a rock, but overall I'd say I still sleep rather well.
Since I'm an adult preferrably not more than 7 hours. I try to sleep 6-7 hours, usually (or rather on average) it's 6 hours. But that's 5 hours in the summer and 7 hours in the winter due to the varying lengths of daylight time. If I sleep less than 5 hours or more than 8 hours I feel sick and tired the next day. I think 6.5 hours is optimal for me.
8 hours normally. I have no other occupation than only being a college student. Most of my classes are online. I need 8 to have enough energy to maximize the quality of my school assignments, consistently stay on top of cleaning the apartment (bc my roommate likes the place squeaky clean most of the time), to peacefully enjoy my hobbies, surfing the web for as long as I can, and to stay less anxious and not as forgetful. 8 hours of sleep gives me the kind of life I need in order to be satisfied
On weekdays it just feels too weird going to bed before 10pm, so that’s what I set as my bedtime, kind of arbitrary. Then something that decreases my sleep will be me up on Reddit because I’m anxious and don’t look forward to sleeping because then I have to get up and go to work ultimately. And then on weekends I feel at ease and sleep a lot.
Thank used to go to bed around 11, really settle down to sleep around 11;30, and then lie awake for a few hours. Wake up at 6:30. I started melatonin last year and that helped me get 6-7 hours on a good night. Now I’m pregnant and so effing tired and taking Unisom for nausea. Most days I take a 2-hour nap when I get home, then bed by 9 or 10 and I sleep solidly till my alarm goes off. I hate being this tired but I’m actually getting rest for once!
I usually fall asleep between 10-10:30 and wake up at 6:30. I need 8 hours! Last night I got maybe 3-4 with a sick toddler (fever Ava threw up in bed) so I took today off. My husband is a SAHD so I didn’t need to worry about daycare and she’s only not feeling well because of her vaccines, but I can’t function like that!

Do you prefer being single or in a relationship? Why?

Based on my current relationship and my most recent previous one, I like being in a relationship better. I'm an introvert so I really love having someone to connect with on a deep level. As long as the relationship is healthy I think that there's something comforting about it and it's also really fun when you have someone that shares interests.
When things are hard, improvement is real. My experience regarding relationships is that is about getting your shit together and share the best of you not only with your SO but with everyone. Take responsability on the most that impact your life and find new ways of doing it effectively. When you say you spent your time daydreaming, you were ignoring other aspects of your life and using your relationship as an excuse. You can daydream, be in love, work on yourself, trust your partner but more important yourself and continue to moving forward.
I spent ages 15-25 in constant relationships (one lasted 2 years, the second 2.5 years, the third 4 years, and the fourth 1 year) and was rarely single in between. Now I'm 26 and single for the first time in my life and its AMAZING. It's not just the fact that I can have sex with anyone I like (benefit which I use very often) but rather that I can plan my day/week/weekend all by myself. I can change plans spontaneously. Sometimes I leave my house to go for a hike and then end up surfing instead! Its a complete and total ownership of my time, my resources, and my body and its absolutely wonderful. It's also a great way to learn what you really like in life- how do YOU spend your time and money when you're alone and not have to compromise with anyone? It's a fantastic experience and I'd recommend everyone to spend at least 1 full year (but preferably more) been single. =)
I prefer being in this relationship. It's got the good things of being single (freedom, time on my own, time spent with my best friend, not worrying about how I interact with others) plus the good things of being in a relationship (spending time with someone who makes me happy, that little jolt of happiness when they come home from work and smile to see you, someone who is for some reason willing to take care of me when I'm sick).
At the moment I have a preference towards singledom that is entirely an emotional response to other factors in my life. I currently have agoraphobia (I have it on/off and this year is 'on' apparently), so I feel I have much bigger fish to fry. I would first like to feel comfortable outside and to have my freedom back. I would also like to be happier with other things in my life first too. I don't agree that one should be "totally happy with everything in their lives before dating" because that is a nonsense. We always have problems and that time will not come. When it comes to LSE, there's nothing wrong with dating while you have LSE. LSE is notoriously rigid, it's unlikely to change, it is more that you learn to mitigate it.

What is your dream travel destination?

nai269549’s Profile Photoʟᴇɪᴀɴ ♕
Maldives. I’ve already been to the Caribbean and Hawaii and they’re both the most beautiful I’ve ever been to, but I wanna visit the Maldives since I’ve never been there before, and they’re so isolated. Some place with good diving & surfing, such as Hawai'i, Fiji, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia.
England! I was able to go in 1999 and since I’d been in love with it from afar all of my life it was a dream come true. Now I want to go back desperately and hope to actually get to move there one day. It felt more like home than anywhere I’ve ever been and my heart will always long to be there.
Oregon for the redwood forests or Scandinavia for the mountainous scenery and culture.
I second Scotland, one of my favourite places for a break, the scenery along the west coast of Scotland around Glencoe, Fort William and the Isle of Skye is some of the most spectacular mountain scenery you will find anywhere in Europe. I've done a few cycle tours around Scotland, but I had planned to visit during 2020 and do some hill-walking, maybe parts of the Cape Wrath Trail and the West Highland way and a few mountains in between, the walk from Cape Wrath to Glasgow would be 650 miles, maybe this year!
Scotland! Luckily, I went about a year and a half ago for three weeks. It was INCREDIBLE. Everything I ever dreamed of. I still think about it every single day and look at my photos and videos often. Half my anecdotes start with, "When I was in Scotland...". I'm that annoying person :) I've wanted to go since I was little. I have always been a history buff, and also thought Scotland was the most beautiful place I had ever seen (I was right). I went to some archaeological sites that were on my bucket list. I was waiting for years for someone to go with me, but my friend circle has the fairly normal Canadian 4 weeks of vacation and they like going to warm beaches. So as a 30th birthday present to myself, I decided to go solo. Hopefully one day I can live there for a bit.
Both are destinations that are so far away by plane that most American tourists have neither the financial desire or ability to go there, as flights typically require a stop in NZ or Australia before you get to the island. As a result, you get far, far fewer obnoxious tourists and a much more authentic, unspoiled tropical paradise than say, Hawaii.
if we’re talking Christmas holiday, on my couch with my dog and cat watching A Christmas Carol and having some cookies and milk.
I really want to stay in one of those "over the water" hotel rooms. Maybe Bora Bora.
Switzerland and Austria. I was supposed to go around Christmas time in 2017, but I got pregnant and cancelled the trip. Someday....😭
I have always wanted to visit Egypt and see the pyramids and other ancient structures. I don't think I will ever get to.

How far in advance do you plan/research your trips?

March - May 2017 I plan on traveling to a few countries in Asia (I haven't decided which ones yet), and August/September 2017 I will do South America for a year, or until I run out of money (giving myself a $10,000 - $15,000 budget). I'm starting to do research now, figuring out what there is to see and do in each country, what path I want to take, transportation, volunteer and couch surfing opportunities, etc. The last two trips I took were to Thailand and Japan, and I started planning 1 month and 3 months in advanced, respectively. Once I'm in country, I tend to be more relaxed and have a go with the flow attitude, but I do like to have a general idea of where I'm going, staying, and how I'm getting around. I'm just curious, for those that like to plan ahead, how far in advance do you do it? And what kinds of things do you usually plan/research as your trip approaches. Since my trip is so far away, what do you suggest I get started on? Researching and planning always tends to be a bit overwhelming, especially if it's to a place I've never been before. In addition, the moment I book tickets somewhere, I will be on the lookout, and add to that doc. If anything needs arranging meeting up with people, I will do that about a month in advance, then a follow-up 2 weeks in advance. Anything else is flexible and can be done a week before departure.
For this trip I knew which area I wanted to go to, so I made a very rough itinerary of how many days I wanted in each place before I booked the flights to make sure I would have enough time. That plan has been altered slightly. Otherwise I start looking at accomodation and start checking out wikivoyage and other resources. I bought the Lonely Planet guides on sale and got a hard copy and a pdf copy, so will take the pdf copy with me. For example, I have made the decision that I am going to travel to Guatemala this fall. I don't have flights or anything booked but I have begun doing some research and am in the very early planning stages.
Even though I do detailed and extensive research and planning, I am like you in that I am more relaxed once I get to my destination and I don't follow my itinerary to a tee. I leave room for spontaneity and exploration and relaxation.
I bought a ticket to NZ 8 days ahead of time and booked a rental car and the first night hotel. After that I just drove around goin wherever I wanted for 16 days. The only time it bit me in the ass was I didn't realize Easter weekend meant everyone in NZ goes and buys all the hotel rooms and I ended up having to pay like $200 for a room one night.
I tend to research flights, accommodation, any large transport expenses (intercity trains, etc) and visa requirements well in advance, since I like to get all that stuff locked down early. I might do some brief research on fun things to do there, but I usually don't bother much with that until I'm actually there.

What's so special about you?

I will continue to refine my learning and grow exponentially more intelligent in my field. I stopped eating much sugar probably a year ago. After that, I really noticed that I no longer have an urge to eat sugar. Cupcakes, cookies, ice cream... none of it really intrigues me. If I eat syrup it's basically disgusting. I'm really happy that I am now this way. I think I sleep better, too.
Not exactly super unique, but I'm a brown person who grew up in an all white area (didn't meet another brown person other than my father, or the Indian kid in elementary school until ~8th grade). Additionally, I was put up for adoption as soon as I was born, and adopted at 4 by a mixed couple. As such, I've never met my parents, and have absolutely no sense of racial identity. If you were to ask me what I am, the best you'd likely get is either "Not white" or "Brown". But past that...nothing.
The only thing I can ever think of for this question is that I wasn't born in a hospital. I was delivered in my brother's bedroom at home because my parents didn't want to pay the hospital bills.
I hate a bit myself till the point to want to become day after day a better person and the best way to do so it's helping the others, even stranger. I'm not worthy of loving myself if I cannot love the others who really need some help.
I always want to see others happy, even if I'm sacrificing something for it.
My work now has been super cool and interesting (and really fucking hard) but sadly I'm not allowed to talk about it until it's done. It's also stressing me out because I'm waiting on approval for the next milestone, and I don't know where I'm living once I move away from university until then. If it doesn't come through I don't really know what to do. Graduate level work is practically a waste of my time, but I didn't ace my degree (I did maybe 6 weeks of work over 3 years) so I don't look that competitive. I feel so demotivated and that I've let myself down. I accidentally went on an around-the-world trip as a nomad. I went on a 2 week vacation but decided not to come back, so my friends helped move my things out of my apartment and shipped my laptop to Southeast Asia. I visited 19 countries across Asia, Middle East and Europe, working the entire time at 9-5 job remotely via laptop, staying in hostels and couch surfing. My free Wi-Fi spideysense is world class.
I say this often as a joke, but I genuinely think I’m pretty good at being mundane. My interests are extremely weak and limited, I have no talents or redeeming qualities, not super funny, not super smart etc etc. You could probably name any trait and I either won’t have it or I’ll have it to such a minor degree that you’re better off finding someone else. There is quite literally nothing interesting about me and I find that very interesting.

Do you prefer swimming in pools or in the ocean? || Preferes nadar em piscinas ou no mar? 🙂

AdrianaRafaela98’s Profile PhotoAdriianna Rafaella
My favourite swimming is definitely in the sea, river or lake because you’re in the natural outdoors and the water is so fresh and lovely. The waves at the beach are so much fun whether you’re board riding, body surfing or just playing and getting thrown around by the waves. There is also something pretty special about doing a bush walk and coming across a river and just jumping in to get cool before setting off again.
But I also like a swimming pool if i want to do lap swimming or at a friends house and being able to cool off with a swim on a hot day is pretty great too.
So really I think all swimming choices are great but for different reasons.

How often do you just go for a drive?

I actually do this way too often. I usually justify my late night rides with my inability to fall asleep, but every time I do it I never regret it because something awesome always happens. For example, this past Thursday night I saw two cops racing. One was in a Charger and the other in a Tahoe. I was tempted to join them but then I thought about the worst case scenario. O and just last week I saw someone car surfing on their civic.
Not often enough. I did today, kinda by accident. I went out to just check some stuff on my car, came up to the highway and realized one way would take me towards where i had planned to go, while the other direction was a lot less busy and has some fun side roads. Went about ~20 miles the opposite direction I needed too, it was a lot more fun.
Every day. Today I took the Mustang out for an hour and a half or so, but lost my nerve when the temps dropped and I saw frost on the ground and came back. But I have just as much fun in my Corolla. Sometimes I'll hand my girlfriend the keys to the Toyota and tell her, "drive wherever," and we get coffee and just hit the highway while I lay back in the passenger seat of my own car.
When I had my ML, probably once every other month would be an average. I've had my E550 for about 2 months now and at least once a week (usually more) I find an excuse to drive it out somewhere. Sometimes I'll purposefully take a nice long roundabout way to get somewhere I could have gotten to much sooner. Sometimes I'll just pop onto the Interstate and let it rip, loop around at the next exit to head back, let it rip again and get back off to finish heading where I was going.
Well used to I would dream of doing just that until gas prices dropped like a stone then I started driving more sometimes getting 450+ miles on Saturdays I had off. All of that in a ford expedition I bought for $400 then a couple of months later I ended up getting my cdl and have now traveled most of the interstates in the us except for Nevada and new England and south Florida. I seem to have always had good driving stamina and i am known to go for almost 8 hours before stopping since legally dot laws say I have to have a break before 8 hours.
As much as I can, but not much lately. Unfortunately all the nice backroads in my immediate area have recently been ruined by construction. Luckily I'm moving out to the northern most part of the Houston area, so I'll be that much closer to the nice country back roads that haven't been ruined by construction yet.
For instance last week my uncle got in a car wreck because some guy decided to play chicken on the road with him on new years day, ran him off the road and could have killed him. When I heard about it I was filled me with so many feelings, which I distilled into my driving, and I just went out blood pumping and senses sharp, and had the most amazing drive.

I'm a forward-thinker and an avid planner who assesses everything before I decide what to do. I make sure that I also have a Plan B and C for unforeseen circumstances or moments of failure career-wise. I'm also particular about the people I surround myself with. They go hand-in-hand.

When you follow your heart, it has an emotional context. It has to do with making a decision about a relationship, or a desire, or a life choice. People follow their heart when they give up the high-salary office workaholic job to fly to Hawaii and teach surfing with their high school sweetheart. When you follow your gut, you're given some choices and have to select one. But some not-well-defined urge is telling you to pick one over the others, even if the odds of that being the best choice might not appear to be that great. You're following a "gut instinct" to pick one of the choices, possibly because you subconsciously recognized a reason why one of the alternatives was better (...or you're just wrong). It's a process. It's not so much about doing it, but more like let it happen by itself and not interfere with it. This process has certain stages that can be roughly presented like it starts with a sense of general unease and dissatisfaction with what the world and the mind has to give to you, a sense of wanting something more, something different but not yet sure of what this is. Then moves in to becoming aware of our ties with the mind made world along with the emotional turmoil in us and recognizing the need to transcend it, which eventually leads in to the actual letting go of the thinking process as our primary source of info and guidance and the opening to the suggestions of a much more vast intelligence that is the source of all happiness, creativity and love, which isn't the emotional center we used to call heart, but a much more rich space of abundance that is usually called Being.
Which in turn marks the awakening of the Heart based consciousness in us that propels us to a living based on freedom and love. The mind cannot drop the mind. Stop trying. Let the procedure take care of itself. Try to nourish it by mindful meditation. It's a natural process anyway and it will complete in its own time. To me doing stuff through your heart, or living in the hear or any other heart-spiritual-thingy is a way to talk about a completely different "tool" than your mind or your every day senses. A tool through which you can experience non-duality. So in some sense heart=non-duality=love. The problem is when the mind is trying to understand this and comes up with all kind of stories about it. It'll tell you that living in the hear is practicing love towards others, forgiveness, letting go of grudges, accepting, loving yourself, etc... But the thing is that those are CONSEQUENCES of being in the heart, not things to do to reach the state. It all looks like a cat and mouse race in the mind, it is all so tricky to understand... because it can't be understood. And yet, millions of minds are on this race to spirituality, to the heart, to love. hehehe, what a position we put ourselves into, to forget what we are and the pursue remembrance through paths that can't possibly reach there. This doesn't mean for you to stop doing anything though.

I recently noticed that fb developed a "fact check" feature & calls out certain posts, if they arent up to "par" with what they deem as the "facts"? Do you think you would like this on other social platforms or naw? Do you like doing your own research to find zee' TROOF or want it given to you? 🤔

I've yet to see this feature, kinda cool I guess. I'd like it as standard practice for any and all web surfing because the amount of fake crap on the internet is shocking, so bad that it's hard to tell if it's genuine or not

Come to Raja Ampat, is more beautiful than Bali. Is like a paradise, you have to try to visit in Raja Ampat when you come to Indonesia on the next trip

RustiAnna’s Profile Photoannarrusti ❤
Bali I'm not keen to return to. Ubud was cool, but the rest was super crowded. There are some stunning black sand beaches and surfing though. I really enjoyed mount bromo though. My highlight in Java. Ijen is close too, if you want to see a blue fire sulphur crater. And I got up to Sumatra and went to lake toba for a couple days and ended up staying 2 weeks... partly laziness, but the guest house was so cheap, the waterfalls and coastal scenery was spectacular. I ended up missing the orangutans, shame on me. Java is amazing; I would say Bali is a condensed version of Java without being as good. Jakarta is a 1 day city, if you can get through the traffic. Bandung (volcanos, nice city), Jogjakarta (temples that are on the same level as Angkor Wat), Malang (Mount Bromo), Bangyuwangi (fire volcano) are the highlights. Bali is touristy at most part but worth to visit for a couple of days, drop by lombok and gili islands that are amazing while you are there too. Now it's up to you if you want to continue further east (where amazing islands and beaches are) such as Komodo Islands, Sumba, Raja Ampat, Flores, etc. Note that the further east you go, don't expect modern house essentials i.e sitting toilet, proper bedding etc, as unless you're at a selected resort cities you'll have to go with the bare essentials, the Indonesian way.
If you chose to go to the west where Java is, there are great mountains to explore (some don't even need hiking) like Bromo, Ijen (blue flame mountain), Jogjakarta (Borobudur Temples), then you can go to Jakarta and Bandung.
Jakarta is just like any SEA metroplitan cities I would say, jam packed, busy, etc. In terms of safety in any places you go in south east asia you need to be careful and aware of your surroundings, don't get yourself into stupid situations and you'll be fine.
