I prefer to approach these topics with a reasonable amount of skepticism. Without substantiated facts and irrefutable evidence, very little can convince me. Faith is great but I would hesitate. In my opinion, there could be a scientific explanation for everything that you've mentioned except for a few points which will be addressed below. The science changes constantly and there are countless riddles which we still cannot decipher. With that said, it is important to recognize that science isn't always a final conclusion but an evolutionary process which, at times, can be a mystery in itself. Some might suggest that all questions have already been answered long before they were asked. There may be something to this notion. It may also be true that revelations can be somewhat challenging to ascertain, comprehend or disseminate but in the absence of adequate answers, we must continue to investigate further and avoid jumping to conclusions. Along the way, we will encounter numerous enigmas which are (or may seem?) inexplicable but we should resist the temptation of interpreting concepts, events or experiences from our limited perspectives. Plausible theories deserve our attention. Illusory proposals do not.

Well, that's how he would spend his days until one day everything changed when through a sleep paralysis, in the midst of fear and the supernatural, he is dragged into a dark world where chaos seems to reign. He would be locked up because they kidnapped him for his spiritual energy (they grant the spiritual energy of people to satisfy the wishes of their god), energy that he would consider is not relevant and has no power until his desire to escape falls a lightning on his hand, his eye turns reddish with tears of blood and his arm spits steam, he does not know how to use his "new power" all he wants is to return to his world but the great magnates of that universe will try to prevent it because it would reveal to the world the dark secret that connects the real world with it

I feel like being so willing to give up your own power and independence means attracting someone who is controlling by nature. People who are naturally controlling sometimes walk a fine line between control and abuse if their control is questioned or threatened. Many people who are handed free reign over another person’s life will eventually abuse that power if there is no one holding them accountable.

There are so many problems with abuse of power in (esp) religious marriages where subservience is a mainstay...if you can treat your spouse any way you want and twist bible verses to solidify your point, then you set yourself up as a god in your own little kingdom and no one will question you due to fear and brainwashing. This is so dangerous to families.

As far as “protection”...valid point before modern civilization. When humans were warring with one another and there was raping/pillaging going on, traditional roles were extra important. But now in modern times, everyone has access to weapons of defense such as guns, we have police to call if feeling threatened. We are much less dependent on one another for safety. We have access to modern technology such as 911, burglar alarms, security cameras, and we have laws in place which make it a crime to be threatened/raped/beaten etc.

Protection by society/government/laws is much better than having to rely solely on one person or one gender who may decide it is no longer in their best interest to continue to protect you.
