How can I get access to the NRx secret lore?

Come on over, baby, and I'll show you.
Any chance you could cosplay Hildegard von Mariendorf?

I have heard NRx-ers have very small penises, perhaps five inches at the most, is this true? The rationale for this NRx-small-penis argument is that a small willy creates a need to overcompensate via external power structures due to a decidedly pathetic, impotent, small, weak, short manhood; yes?

Your mom doesn't think so.

Do you consume any prog media?

Left to myself, I wouldn't. But watching television is a social activity that I sometimes find myself more or less dragged into. So, here's the prog media I've been watching (this does not count non-prog media like Legend of Korra or Game of Thrones - keep reading the blog for updates on those):
Gotham
The Flash
Agents of SHIELD
Arrow
Star Wars: Rebels
Once Upon A Time
Boardwalk Empire
True Detective

Should we execute the worst of the riff-raff and abolish the welfare state?

No. Tunney's idea of bringing back domestic servants is probably one of the better ideas in dealing with the surplus population.

You seem very bent out of shape about the Synod, but it looks like the radicals have overplayed their hand a great deal and are being pushed back by a furious majority of bishops, so that these silly speculative pronouncements will never be endorsed by the Church as doctrine or pastoral guidance.

Let's hope so. 2014 appears to have a theme to it of leftists overplaying a hand and getting burned. But when dealing with The Cathedral, there's no such thing as being too vigilant, or, honestly, too pessimistic.

Why are you Americans so obsessed with tank-like cars (SUVs, HUMMERs, minivans, etc...)?

Instead of answering you myself, I think I shall direct you towards James Howard Kunstler - blogger and critic of all things technologically grandiose in American life. Here's his blog:

And here's an episode of his podcast dealing with cars and driving specifically:

Start reading his stuff. You'll be glad you did.

If you could cleanse the Earth of the scourge that is humanity in one fell swoop, would you? In a "Kill them all and let God sort them out" kind of way, so to speak.

As a Christian, I wish death on nobody. However, as an introvert who has moderate social phobia, hates the culture of the megacities, and loves peaceful silence, a world with maybe 10% of its current population on it would suit me just fine.

OLI - I'm sorry, I was trying to politely see if you'll are taking steps to insure you don't lock yourselves into a vicious echo chamber and forget how to engage the outside/not reduce yourselves to attacking strawmen in my asking for someone who regularly wins arguments.Anyone working against that?

At the moment, defending against left-entryism is a higher priority than any kind of mass appeal. Besides, what kind of elitist aristocratic movement would we be if we based our writing on trying to appeal to the masses? It's thick, dense, difficult material, and there's a lot of it - you just have to deal with that. But if you can get through that, and contribute some original work, you'll have earned your way in. And won't that feel like an accomplishment?

If both the Catholic church and the Orthodox church gave in to modernity, would you be willing to look for a minor protestant church which better matched your beliefs?

Maybe. I'd also strongly consider Islam.

Is letting gays and unwedded parents take communion that much worse than simony, promiscuity, and other crimes which the old popes got up to all the time?

Yes. Private sin is bad enough, but that's sin that affects and reflects upon one individual. Using one's power to change the official policy of the Church in a way that countenances mortal sin is something entirely different. That's not sin behind closed doors or petty corruption in your own name, that's bringing the entire church into a state of sin in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Church can withstand a few drunkards or skirt-chasers in positions of power - I'm not saying it's desirable, but it's survivable. What will really hurt it is dedicated ideologues who seek to subvert and undermine the very basis of the organization from within. But that goes back to an old truism about life - whores and pickpockets and sellers of cheap gin can never be the kind of terrifying threat that a tireless world-saver can be.

Outsider looking in - I don't feel like you've engaged other sides much; that's probably okay, not your role etc. But do you know which NRxers to look for, regarding actively engaging non-NRxers in debate/discussion? Or is that taboo? I want to be convinced, not taught. Sorry for the trouble.

I'm about as close as you're going to get, to be real honest with you. Look, neoreaction is an explicitly elitist movement, and we are so based on some very sensible principles. There's no desire to make entry excessively easy, because that just encourages entryism. You have to earn your way in, and part of that is being able to handle the large amount of dense and difficult reading it takes to grasp the concepts involved in all of it. It's like Julian fighting his way through Reinhardt's ship to earn his audience with the Emperor - struggle your way through, and then we'll talk, son.

Look if my wife gets raped when I'm out drinking that's not my fault OK?

Why are you out drinking instead of home with your family?

How can I overcome social shyness?

Define: social shyness. Define: overcome.
If you mean serious clinical social phobia, you'll never cure it, you'll only find ways to deal with it enough to be functional in the real world. I've got a work persona and a social persona, and I've gotten to the point where I can keep them up for enough hours to get through a normal day. At the end of that, though, I have to go be alone for a while and decompress. The more businesslike your dealings with people, the easier they'll be, because you can more or less just turn on a set of canned responses and let them run. After a while, they just kind of go on their own without you having to give it much thought. Try to avoid drama, which means there will be lots of people you have to avoid completely because some people drag a suitcase full of drama around with them everywhere they go. Don't be ashamed of needing your time alone, and don't deny it to yourself - be honest about who you are and what you need to keep yourself going in a straight line.

Is it permissible to divorce a wife that has been raped by another man?

I'm not sure what you're asking me, exactly. Are you asking whether one should divorce one's wife because she has been raped? What kind of nonsense is that? If anything, she would be justified in divorcing you, for failing in your duty to protect her.

What does one do if their monarch calls for democracy?

If the monarch wishes to have his power stripped from him, oblige him. Then give it to a new monarch, who will rule.
